I don't think we'll make top four and personally I don't think it matters all that much this year. Gives us more time to settle into our new home next season so there is less pressure on players and we could mount an attack for the prem title.
It would not upset me if we didn't make top four. The only thing that could hurt us in that situation is if some of our bigger players decide they want to leave but surely all the players would have been spoken to in regards to the stadium and what the plan is over the course of the next few seasons.

I worry if we don’t make the top 4 or win the FA Cup we’ll lose our top players, could easily see Kane and Ali going, unlike the fans there is no loyalty to a club now from players.

Kinda agree. There was a time when I thought Champs League would give us an edge in attracting the best players, not sure I believe that so much now.

Getting regular champions league football is certainly a big draw for bigger players as it is seen as the biggest trophy to win apart from the world cup but us not qualifying for it next season will not be so much an issue for us as we will soon start getting champions league spots more regularly (or at least i hope) - realistically we will need time to settle into our new home - don't let anybody tell you any different.
We will have more money to play with as well with contracts from the NFL etc so that will enable us to net a few big names. We are no longer a side IMO that people use a stepping stone for a bigger move, it's a young team that are capable of doing big things but I feel we are 1-2 players shy of winning major titles.

55 PL goals in 167
no flat track bully either.
goals against Chavs and Leicester, PL champions, last 2 years. Citeh, Goons, United too. Big games too, FA semi, Real Madrid.

so who would you replace him with?
It's the system that is designed to get the best out of him.

If you have been watching him closely over the last 2 years, there are only handful of games where he really had a complete midfield performance. The last I remember being Liverpool 3 months ago.

Most games he looks average until he flukes a goal or an assist.

I think getting Champions League every season is an essential to pay for our new stadium, without that we’ll be in deep trouble. I go as far as saying if Pochettino doesn’t win anything or we don’t qualify for Champuons League this season our trigger happy CEO Levy will show him the door.

I don't think that will be the case. Surely any director of any business knows that there is a settling in period when a major move happens and it takes time for everyone to feel bedded in. This would have been outlined in many a conversation between Poch, Levy & Co.

Disagree on both.

Levy is a hard nosed business man, I don't think he does speculation. By that, I mean I believe him when he says that building the stadium was not conditional on getting CL. That would be a bonus of course, but not a deal breaker. That would have been a risk just not worth taking - decent upside, but a car crash of a downside.

Levy will know his history. Leeds bet the club on getting CL. That turned out well.

And Poch has to be safe. Levy knows he has made more managerial cock ups than good decisions.

Agree Levy has made many manager cock ups, too many for me i’m afraid. Over all I think he and the board have guided us very well from a financial point of view (we’re in very good hands) we should also give credit to Lord Sugar who saved us in the first instant and laid the solid financial foundations Levy has built on. As to it being too much of a gamble to finance our stadium alone on consistent CL qualification yes i’d agree, but aren’t all businessmen gamblers to a greater or lesser degree?
