Have run the table calculator and a couple of times (Premier League - Table calculator) and i end up with this:

Its fairly conservative and has us losing to Chelsea and City.

I cant seem to avoid the possibility that we will need to beat Leicester on the last day of the season to get top four.

I haven't run my own sim, but I'm a little bit surprised you have Utd increasing their lead over us between now and the end of the season. I thought we had a slightly more favourable run-in.
 
Spurs win and a Chelsea/Utd draw makes things a lot more interesting.

That would also see Woolwich 10 points off fourth place with Man City next in the league. Funnily enough, Chelsea also have City next too.

Whilst I thought it may have been Liverpool missing out on top four, it's looking increasingly likely that Chelsea may be the ones who end up losing out (though depends on the result tomorrow)

Wouldn’t matter now. Rule was changed...after it fucked us, of course.

To clarify the max limit has now been increased to 5 clubs from one country. So the only way we miss out if we place 4th would be Chavs/Liverpool winning the CL whilst finishing outside the top 4 and the goons winning the EL. At which point, seriously, fuck football I’m done.

For it to be a problem the Arse need to win Europa League ( they probably will ) and Chelsea / United / Liverpool finish 5th and win the Champions League ( don’t rule out Chelsea - but unlikely ) and we finish 4th ( possible )

That senario has to be worth a tenner on Sky Bet could only happen to us.

Beat Huddersfield this weekend and City best Chelsea then we have a 5 point cushion over 5th spot.

With Chelsea (a) and City (h) the only sides around us to play then it’s in our hands. Our record against teams 7th and below is good which gives encouragement.

4th and winning the FA Cup is a very successful season in my eyes, when you consider the money every other team has spent.

They are fucking shambles at the moment. In contrast i believe Milan are unbeaten this year and just beat Roma away.

Plus Atletico, Dortmund, Lazio.....

Even if they get through and where to draw one of the Moscow teams or Zenit or Kiev i think they would struggle.... we know how they love an away leg in Eastern Europe.

Feel free to quote the fuck out of me when they win it.

Leipzig look dangerous too, just knocked out Napoli who are top of Calcio A.
 
Was very much hoping for Manure Chavski draw yesterday. I think we can still overtake Manure, they have been very poor for the past 3 months. A draw yesterday, we'd be 2 pts behind them. It was 10 in December. But 4, we can still overhaul that with I think an easier run in.

I think quite alot will depend on how English teams do in the CL and FA cup. Chavski have the thinnest squad imo. Sounds they were running on empty yesterday. They certainly were at this stage when they won the title under Moaninho, they absolutely limped over the line for the last 2 months.

Regardless of result v Barca, they will be given the run around. 4 days later theyre at Leicester in the FA cup, probably very tired too. They could go out of 2 trophies in 4 days. Leaving just the top 4 to go for. But with a thin squad, difficult to call.

Liverpool - everyone's darlings but still make a ricket against crap teams. Newcastle could get a result there next week.

2nd definitely on for us with the squad we have.
 
I'd take 3rd right now, and Guaranteed CL footie at the NEWHL!

4th will make it an uncertain Summer not knowing for SURE if we'll get through the qualifiers... 2nd just feels greedy... and 5th or below doesn't bear thinking about!
