They didn't appeal though, did they? This is supposed to be a hearing, not an appeal. The appeal deadline was Thursday. Not sure what the hearing is supposed to achieve tbh.
A personal hearing in private. Maybe he is being misadvised and believes he can reduce the ban or he has a longer ban than we know and under the circumstances he has nothing to lose by contesting it at a hearing before the FA make in formal-maybe the ban was for 3 games?

He pleaded guilty to improper conduct. The only issue is the punishment. He asked for a personal hearing, but what can he say in his defence really? His brief will point out he has no previous and then they will beg basically.
Yes they will beg and state that Leicester are the underdogs and that that deserve a chance to keep their best player so that they can complete their "fairy-tale" season. Fucking load of bollocks.

Sorry Im being a little thick here. Is improper conduct added to the one game (2 x yellow cards-sent of for cheating )ban.
That is how I understand it.
1 game is automatic for the sending off, then the improper conduct charge is for getting in the Ref's face and what he said. They can decide to add a game or not to the 1 game penalty he has already got. He won't play against Swansea.

The 2 yellows 1 game ban is mandatory and can't be appealed. He's accepted the charge of improper conduct. The only thing that remains is the punishment for the latter. If the FA go with their previous punishments (Rooney, Wilshere) it will be 2 extra. His hearing is an attempt to keep it to 1.

If Leicester try that nonsense they should dismiss it immediately - perhaps even give them an extra match ban for having the gall to try it.

Their current situation in the title race, and relative resources, has nothing to do with that moment in time where Vardy dived and decided to mouth off to the referee rather than just get off the pitch and head down the tunnel to avoid making it worse.
If I was on the tribunal I would give him another game for wasting my time.
What you said!

Thinking about this, LC do not need this distraction at this stage. He is a plonker and should just take on the chin. Saying that its a nice distraction for us. I feel no pressure at all waiting for Monday because of the side show which include tomorrows game. COYS

Has there been a precedence set for such a punishment ,two games added-I might have to tweet again with my disproval if its reduced?

Some one posted earlier saying they felt generally, the mood had changed, in favour of us-i agree.
The FA do not have to make a decision with added pressure form outside. Im hoping they stick with whatever punishment he is entitled to and ask him to leave.

I seriously doubt whether the FA (or anyone for that matter) would take us into consideration when handing out Jamie Vardy a ban... whether it affects us indirectly or not, there's no amount of pressure (online poll fans) that would change their stance... either he's verbally abused the Ref, and as such deserves punishment, or he somehow hasn't, in which case they'll stick to the 1 game ban... but he did so the 2 games should stand, no?

I don't think anyone is particularly expecting it to affect them tomorrow against Swansea, as Leicester minus Vardy are still more than capable of beating them... it's Man Utd at Old Trafford that everyone is baying for... that could make a difference! But I doubt the FA will be thinking of that so much...
