Manager The Sack Race

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Here's the tweet. Seems it is Nuno who is the unhappy one. Ange in there? Wouldnt fucking surprise me, although Di Zerbi is apparently in the frame.

Nottingham Forest is considering sacking Nuno Espírito Santo.Tensions between the ownership and the Portuguese coach, also stemming from certain signings during this transfer window. This is what Nuno told Sky Sports a week ago: “We are very far off in terms of the squad. The plans we had didn’t work out. The preparation in terms of the squad was not ideal. We don’t know what squad we have. We have players working here who know they are going out on loan. We have a big problem.”The English club is already evaluating other coaches.

de Zerbi and Stavros the Mafia man. We've been trying to develop Nuclear Fusion for 50 years now, I think we might have stumbled on the secret recipe.

I love it. On bbc forest fans saying don’t sack Nuno players and fans are against sacking him he’s done so much for the club etc……
Exactly all the stuff they said when he sacked Steve cooper!😂😂

In hindsight Nuno did well to sign that new contract this summer, obtaining himself better terms in case something like this happened.

He was on thin ice due to a combination of raised expectations and having to manage a Forest team that'll compete on multiple fronts anyway. A sacking as early and abrupt as this might be a blessing in disguise for him.

Ridiculous situation..
I've been away for a week or so with no news of any kind so coming back to see this crap at forest is surprising to say the least...Nuno gave them their highest finish since the mid nineties...how can they possibly not be begging him not to stay....
This owner is....words fail me..

Very smart on his part, and dead cert to get another job, if Maricrackers skewers him..

He deserves better...hope Forest sink slowly into the championship this season and marinara with them...

So many of Forest's wins last season were hit and runs, an approach not sustainable in the long term as evidenced by Ranieri's Leicester in their post-title season. Yet Forest finished "only" 7th.

Even with Nuno they were most likely going to end up in bottom half this year. Now if they actually go for someone like Ange, whose approach is very ill-suited to manage mid-table/bottom half teams, they might genuinely be in danger of going down.
