Ahh that's right. Levy has journos and fake ITKs on the payroll
Not on the payroll, but benefitting from "scoops" is borderline bribery.

You'd like to think the whole football world would turn their backs on Forest because of this guys behaviour. To paraphrase Fergie's comment "I wouldn't sell them a virus" maybe everyone should refuse to sell players to Forest and players who want out should just run down their contracts.

“Some won't remember, but I do. What it cost to get Bale and Modric out of Tottenham for Levy. Hey, legitimate. It's just as legitimate now to say, "Look, it's true that we would sell him to other clubs for 85 million, but for you, they're 100 million, just as non-negotiable as the players we worked so hard to get from your club."”

hilarious how every club knows Levy
Nutters seem to Forget Modric is probably a top 10 GOAT for them and Bale won them at least 1 Champions League with important goals in finals.

When DL passes away, numerous clubs will want to carry out their own autopsy’s just to make sure

Yeah, I just didn't see it at all with him. Works really hard and always trying things, but just doesn't seem in tune with the game and his teammates. Does that magically get better as he matures?

His highlight reel at Bayern has a bunch of banger goals, and every last one of them is like Bayern's seventh in an 8-1 rout of Heidenheim or something.

Is this a player made for the crucible of the Premier League? I guess we will find out.
He was a 17/18 year old playing for bayern. Did you expect him to be starting most games? If you come on in the 70th minute for Bayern, the chances are you’re ahead.

But in any case, of his 16 goals:
8 were meaningless goals in thrashings
8 gave Bayern the lead, equalised, or were decisive

As a teenager.

Not sure you can infer what you want from that.

Yeah I don't have any particular criticism of Tel's time at Bayern. He was a promising kid, and it's understandable that he wanted to leave for more playing time. I was excited to get a look at him.

And then we got a good long look at him, and I, ignorant rube on the internet, really just did not see it.

I would have thanked him for his service and looked elsewhere.

Hitchen was European Scout at Spurs when we signed Modric.
He then went to Liverpool and signed Suarez.
Track record since then is, err, patchy,
I share skepticism of Lange, but there is just no comparison with Hitchen. Hitchen DESTROYED our squad, it is astonishing how utterly non-functional the players he signed were.

Kevin Danso is a better Sanchez and cost half the money in a heavily inflated market.

I can’t name many teenagers who would have come into that team and looked like a star.

He did show confidence, character and fight though. As a teenager.

I can’t wait to see him woth some proper coaching. I’m not saying he will be a success but nobody can draw strong conclusions about Tel from the last 5 months of the season.

Ironic, cos you seem to react REALLY badly to people challenging you; whether it be in terms facts (or at least what you present as fact) or opinion (which yeh - as you say - we all have).

Btw; any reason why you brought someone's nationality into it?

(....And before you wine - French pun, geddit? - You just tagged me.)

What u talking about? I don't like people challenging me? He called me sad, what kind of challenge is that?
As for the nationality.....he was being very arrogant and judgemental, as the French typically are. Im sicilian BTW so feel free to call me what u want, I dont take myself that seriously.

I tagged you because all you do is spend time calling people out thinking you know better. Ur like the local community support officer on here.

If you don't like what you see or read from me block me.

There are plenty of little muggy Spurs fans who believe it and end up giving Levy a pass. It's been working for him for over 20 years.

Bare minimum we should have had an attitude that we would be the best of the rest, make 5th, put in a decent showing in the CL (quarters maybe) and push on from there the following season.

As it currently stands i cant see much above 7th, 8th, 9th and cup exits when we play anyone decent. 3 of our handfull of good players VDV, Romero and Maddison are very injury prone, our squad depth quality is poor. This team and squad is no way set up to have a good league season with CL football.

I don't disagree, but what Levy likes about Frank is what he did with relative unknown's, youths and cheap buys at Brentford.

This should have been fucking obvious to anyone.

We are not spending seventy million on any player, not one.

Lange was hired (he says this on his interview on Spurs TV (i think in January 2025) that his remit is to look for young players with potential. You look at Gray, Bergvall, Kinsky, Takai, Udogie, Spence, Micky, Vuskovic, Kulu, Devine, Sarr, Tel, Scarlett, Moore, Yang, and Lankshear and you have SIXTEEN players barely old enough to buy a pint.

This is where Levy has driven the club unchecked, and it will be interesting to see what influence to change Vinai and Paratici has on changing his mindset over the next few weeks.

We better get used to this because it's the future of where Levy wants to take this club.

Levy didn't set a date on the bullshit and bluster he stated over winning the PL and CL, just an ambition, and one that he thinks can be achieved by bringing in youth and a manager whom he thinks can develop a young squad into a winning one.

Whether any of us agree with this is another thing, but the days of creating a young vibrant team of the past like Fergie did, are long gone. Far too much money in the game now to give most of the chasing pack of managers time to develop anything.

T see Micky Moore to Rangers on loan Good for him but who do we have.Tel unsure son finished Solanke always injured Johnson can’t beat a man.Where are all the new league winners we were promised?Classic Levy cock up
