It’s a shame our own academy players all have to go out on loan but we buy youngsters from other clubs for substantial fees and they get minutes in first team. Most are not good enough but still get preferred to our youngsters. We won’t know if they are any good with our first team players.
Then the same squad finished 17th last season with pathetic performances. Was that all down to the manager?
If so he's gone and you will be proven right and we will have an amazing season with this current squad.
But my eyes don't deceive me and what I saw was a number of players way, way off of the level needed for us to become serious contenders for anything this coming season.

I think we should just fuck and get him. If we were interested in MGW then why not eze. I’d say he is a better player as well. Get Pauline on loan don’t get suckered into paying £30M for him. Can’t recall how much BM paid but surely his value couldn’t have gone up. Get a decent LB and may be get the Georgian from Lyon.

Hey, sorry I haven’t been able to get on the site the past few days. I’ve been trying, so if I disappear again, it’s not for lack of effort!
Since Sunday, Lange has really been stepping things up on Simons. We’d actually made progress there before the MGW deal came into play, but once that surfaced, we shelved it to focus on Morgan.
Now that we’ve moved on from that, we’ve shifted our focus back to Xavi. Chelsea are pushing hard for him too, and Winstanley is aware of our approach. Lange is on standby to close the deal as soon as we get the green light from the player.
Xavi’s club have told him they believe Tottenham would be the better move for his development, and we’re ready to match an acceptable offer. That’s part of what’s currently slowing Chelsea down on their end.
Bayern have also re-submitted an offer to the player , but Xavi’s priority is still a move to the Premier League. Chelsea are still front runners but the player hasn’t closed the door on us
I'm not so sure Davies is a Spurs stalwart, a legend and a mature voice in the dressing room. Sonny the same but Son has a deserved reputation that will allow him to go on and still earn a very decent contract.
He is out there as there is no real transfer activity going on as we are not serious about making moves. If we were they would have all been done and gone on tour. He know he will have 3 weeks before end of window to do some lazy scouting and some average players for inflated prices. I hope when he comes back with these players to Frank , Frank tells him to shove it.

Johnson was virtually deadline day same as Solanke and oddjob
It was more than 3:4 games. He started v Soton in RB and went on a great run played a lovely through ball and we were one up. Then in some games he recover to be our last man having promoted to playing in the 10 role by Ange and make great blocks. Think a good hard manager can get him even better.
