AS I understand it: Rodrygo has been pushed to the side by the arrival of Mbappe. He's primarily a left winger but could also play on the right to make room for Vinicius. Mbappe's arrival knocked him onto the bench.

Fair play, think Frankfurt who finished 3rd in the Bundesliga and Man U still being Man U made it official enough for me, being there helped also. Could of played Ajax if they'd beaten Frankfurt and Lazio if they beat Bodo Glimbt as well would of been a more pleasing way to the final but they lost.

This team is so short on players. What an absolutely shocking window from the club. Won a major trophy and then act poverty stricken. Zero ambition to kick on. Levy and ENIC have let Frank down. I guess the club are just happy with participation award in the CL cause this squad isn't anywhere solid enough for all 4 competitions this season.
