Fuck me this narrative is killing me! Burnley will be a totally different game where they'll be the ones parking the bus and we'll be the ones on the ball expected to break them down with no creative midfielders.

Its a totally different challenge and the PSG performance is irrelevant. If anything that PSG performance will drain us both physically and mentally and we are likely to have a very flat performance on Saturday.

Agree except we are at home at to start the season. No excuse to be flat.

We definitely can’t give up the ball and get dominated at home against Burnley though. It will be murder in that stadium if that happens

100%. We all knew Frank can set up a team to compete with the big boys.

But what has he got against a low block? Saturday will be tough without Eze.
Exactly. I'm more concerned about this weekend then I was for PSG or the City game the week after.

I know we'll be fine in the big games because Frank is elite at setting up teams to be pragmatic and nulify the opposition's strengths. We were happy to defend deep and rely on set pieces and counter attacks yesterday. It'll be the same against City in 2 weeks and I've no concerns about us playing there-we'll give them a very tough game.

The real question mark over Frank is can he get us scoring enough goals at home and blowing away lesser teams. This is something his Brentford team always struggled with and will be his real acid test at Spurs.Especially given the lack of creativity we currently have in midfield. Burnley will be well prepared so we won't be scoring from set pieces or counter attacks this weekend. We'll need to be patient and break them down. It'll be a tricky game!

Dragusin hasn't shown anything to be considered good enough to play at this level. Being able to hoof it up while camping inside your own third doesn't constitute a good defender anymore, no matter how good he is at it apparently.

If Frank wants to go with a back 3 on occasions, something I wouldn't blame him for as some of his personnel are so well-suited for it, then he doesn't have anybody other than the trio of yesterday to do so. And Davies I guess.

But he played almost the entirety of last season with a back 4 I think, so I don't think it's that big of a deal for him like it is for some other managers.

Yeah we need a convincing 2 or 3 nil win really and that won't be easy. I can see us really struggling to break them down without any creativity in the middle. We need Richarlison to take his chances this weekend!

Nice to know but the elephant in the room is Levy isn't willing to pay the release clause!

Bloody typical isn't it? A few days ago we were told we were trying to convince Eze and that the main danger was Eze rejecting us and Woolwich hijacking! Now it looks like we have a clean run and Levy has gone back to his old ways!

You are taking too much trust in the bullshit reporting. If Eze is available for a price we consider fair and of value, we will do the deal.

We also have no idea if this new Eze ‘only wants Spurs’ shit is true. It clearly won’t be. He will be waiting for a bid to be made that is accepted by CPFC and make a decision based on which clubs are in for him.

Last season they put

5 past wolves,
4 past Ipswich
3 past Bournemouth
3 and 5 past Southampton
4 past Newcastle
4 & 4 past Leicester
4 past United
4 past Brighton

He would actually be great in the setup we used last night. The issue I'd we won't be using it often.

Have no idea if Midas is genuine but the fact he rarely posts must count for something. Someone who was doing it for attention wouldn’t only post rarely.

And he’s been around as an ITK ages.

I’m going to believe it’s true because its positive news I need it after last night lol

Midas is the gold standard? I see what you did there.

Understand Captain America GIF

Again, I think Palace will want to line up a replacement before they allow the sale to go through..... this seems positive for sure - but dont get your hopes up its gonna happen today and then get all angry when it doesnt

Last night was great in terms of how we competed and on another day we win that very comfortably but quality is what we need.

Get Savinho and Eze done. We need players that can take the ball and get us up the pitch. We need players that can create against teams that sit in. Those two plus Kudus will find ways to open up those teams.

If we go into this season expecting Richy,Dom and Johnson to be able to play against st low block sides(and there will be many) then we will struggle big time especially at home. We need footballers that can create. Last night was a great base to play from in terms of looking solid, hard to play against and being physically imposing. Add some n quality to that and we will have a very good season. If we don’t add to it now we will end up mid table.
175m for Solanke, Johnson and Richy is criminal.

Looks like the transfer committee finally realised we need technical quality in attack. Not sure what took so long. Angeball takes some of the blame too. Signed imited players for that shitty system.
