Think the job has out grown levy! Happens in every large corporation. He is simply out of his depth and burnt to many bridges with the fans, other teams owners and chairman’s etc. he’s using a play book that just doesn’t work anymore. He is damaging the brand at this stage

I think the Eze and Savinho rumors were leaked by Levy so he could convince Romero to extend his contract. It probably went something like this:

Levy doesn’t want to sign anyone and wants to extend Romero but Romero says no as he doesn’t trust the board and wants transfers in.

2 weeks ago Levy tells Romero we are looking to bring in Eze and Savinho. Romero says I like that but I don’t believe you.

Levy says, even Hincapie! Romero laughs him off as Levy has done this before.

Then Daniel up with a master plan. He’d leak rumors that the signings were getting closer inch by inch by inch. Then he’d extend Romero under the guise of big transfers coming in, only to back out of the transfers once Romero was signed. And he’d blame the other clubs for failing to cooperate.

The bastard pulled it off to perfection.

Levy & Lange should go for Wissa/Akilouche or splash money on Savio along one of the two.

Levy says ambitious words but this window has clearly shown his actions dont coincide with that, neither is this the first window that this has happened in.

That dream day of MGW + Kudus on the same day is a long distanced memory now.
