7 PL goals. He was dreadful and ineffective.Still got 25 goals and assists combined - not too many others in PL who did that, so he's clearly worth a lot more than 8m
Would take 8M and it also frees up 10M in wages so that’s 18M total

May I in the most polite way i can think of, suggest that you are either new to the sport of professional football or have the IQ of a Goldfish.
Agree , and what we have all been saying , we now need experienced players to play in pivotal positions .Agree- we are competing in the CL this year, not 2-3 years from now.
Might start to see less of this soon.It really is about wages when it comes to us. If we are in for a player and Man Utd are in for the same player he goes to Man Utd. Not because Man Utd is a better option or deemed to be a bigger club it’s because of money and the big gap in the offers. Man Utd will offer a lot more per week.
It’s not just what the players want,it’s what their families and agents want too. We just won’t compete with the big boys.
Levy is working on that, and is actively trying to drive it down even lower. Are there any scraps from the relegated clubs that we can prey on ?
Preferably with a year or less on their contract ?
Daniel? Is that you?Are there any scraps from the relegated clubs that we can prey on ?

Gotta agree with you on Mbuemo.
I'm worried he has had his one very good season and after we pay top dollar to get him here he regresses back to an average player. So similar to the Solanke signing for me.
Hope I'm wrong (if we sign him).
Can/won'tMbuemo is going to utd, we can't/won't match those wages, there is really nothing to see here.
I wouldn't spend that kinda money on mbreumo after one great season.
There is better value abroad
And the guy running it is tighter than Levy.Might start to see less of this soon.
United are stacked with players they don't want and can't sell because of their wages..
Why do all our signings have to be good value? Our cost base is exceptionally low so spend some fucking moneyZhegrova, Francisco Coincecao, Bakwa... Abroad you can buy very good players at fair prices. Stay away from PL market.
Ever heard of home grown quota?Zhegrova, Francisco Coincecao, Bakwa... Abroad you can buy very good players at fair prices. Stay away from PL market.
No-one knows if that’s true and if it is, it’s down to the finance director and chairman to ease it find the money. We’ve hugely reduced our wage bill opex so I’m sure those savings can cover deferred transfer paymentsI would much rather Eze than Mbuemo. However I read somewhere we have a cash flow crunch this year ie. staged payments on players we bought previously that are due this summer eg Porro, Madders, etc. without the balance of staged payments due to be received this summer from previous players sold eg. Kane, PEH, etc.
If that is true then Eze is a problem with 60m due immediately regardless of our headroom in PSR. The alternative is to finance the Eze purchase price with short term debt - not attractive.
Spurs debt whilst big is currently at a very low interest rate on the stadium build. Think of it being like the interest rate on your mortgage. The debt to finance Eze will be like credit card debt in comparison.
Just what I read - don’t downvote the messenger. Not sure if the cash flow crunch is true or not.
