Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He can play either. RW against top opposition when you need pausa and someone to hold up the ball.

Centre midfield against weaker teams. Would I start him over Maddison every week? No, its form dependant. But on a going day Kulusevski is just as good as Maddison in the 10.
No Maddison is clearly better. Helps with ball retention, quicker passer, better decision maker, more of a goal threat, just a more creative player in total. Not that he is all that consistent either but Madders is clearly our AM when Spurs are at our best.

One telling aspect about Kulusevski supporters (including many in this thread) is they’ll never actually say which position they want him to play. They just say they want him on the pitch.

Which is really my exact point.

I mean you didnt even ask me :D

I think he can play as a 10, he does need further developing in that role though, think he's more suited to it in Frank's system personally than Maddison is.

Kulusevski has proven for three seasons now that he will have about 10-12 good games a season and be completely hopeless for the rest

This has happened under multiple managers and systems

I don't know how it's even a debate at this point
The way it works is you say something and someone disagrees with it

I think Kulusevski is brilliant. I'd have him in our team every day of the week.

Who are these freaks who think Harvey Elliott is better? What am i reading today lol
He is brilliant for about 8 games a season, rest of the time he’s very meh and I loved him when he first joined. He’s nowhere near as good as Maddison in the 8/10 creative role and he’s just not a winger. He’s a player who is perfect for a a 3-4-2-1 where he can be the right sided 10 but in a 4-3-3/4-2-3-1 he just doesn’t seem to work consistently.

Liverpool about to sign Guehi and likely not done either.

Meanwhile in the Spurs transfer thread we are back to discussing Kulusevski.

Daniel Levy is a specialist in crushing any good sentiment at this club and if we are all honest about it, just too small time to ever really compete for the things he claims he wants to win.

I’m giving up on this wee shit buying some players it’s the same old Levy waiting to the last day of the transfer window and he will lose Eze to the darkside. Others are buying now to give the coach time to get them working in unison with the whole team. Every year the same!
