Solomon was Leeds player of the season and deservedly so. I think his early injury with us, and Ange not fancying him led to his loan.

He would improve us, and with the amount of games we face would be a good addition.

Looks like there is a real shortage of DMs around. I can see us playing Bentacur and Bergvall in a double pivot.

Gykores has now had several high scoring campaigns in Portugal and has proven himself in the Championship (with its famous physicality).

Solanke's record in the championship is P 86, Goals 44, assists 16

For comparison Gykores' is P 121, Goals 41, assists 15

Darwin Nunez had a phenomenal scoring record in Portugal.

I'm not sure how that makes it copium to suggest that he may not in fact be the next Ronaldo. He's 27 too and they're giving him a 5 year contract on massive money. It is, by any standard, a risk. They are once again spending massive money on an average player IMO
