Would be a miracle if Levy signed two £60m + players in the same transfer window. It just doesn't fit the youth project.

Maybe if we are really lucky he might sign one of them (I'd prefer Eze), maybe a couple of 25m players and a couple on a free. Just can't see Levy changing course for one season in the CL.

Top class loan, it's still a year too soon. Realistically VDV is not going to be playing every game and we will need a lcb to rotate in for pl games most probably. If that person is vuskovic then it's a massive ask to go from westerloo to pl starting games.
1 season loan in English football and then into the squad the following year. Same with Phillips

I reckon £50/60m? I am just spitballing here. Mind you if those Saudi clubs can throw money around like confetti, and it will have been noted by Levy that they were offering around £100m for Bruno, then I would expect the bald bastard to extract every ounce of cash possible (especially given Son's marketing value which is still massive).

It’s more like the Saliba situation when they had him loaned in the French league, you need him playing a high level then pull him in when ready, maybe it’s now maybe it’s next season. Very different to the Philips situation as he may or may not make it.

I'm not keen on all the ways one becomes HG/CT but however we do it, we have to try and seize that opportunity with this kid.

I deleted my posts since some of the other posters on here pointed out that he can apparently be loaned within England.

But I do think that Luka should be given the chance to prove himself before we make a decision. There'll be plenty of football during the fall and we can always re-asses going into January if a loan is needed.
