Like a lot of the transfers, they’ll be floor raisers but whether it raises the ceiling of the squad remains to be seen.
Collins is a decent player and seems to offer more minutes than Romero does throughout a season.
At their best, Collins ain’t a Romero though.
Mbeuno is much more of a comparison to Mane than semenyo imo

Well that's what happens when Levy negotiates for other clubs isn't it
Every winger I can think of is miles ahead of Johnson. Either way, Mbuemo or Semenyio will make us a lot better. Also having a winger that can actually beat his man give more space to other players on the field.
To me - hope is that we can improve our back-end with better structure and utilisation of our current players. So i.e. playing with double pivot and keeping organized shape as a team could decrease urgency of buying top level DM.
But when it comes to our front 3 - serious improvement is needed regardless of the system we decide to go forward with. We were toothless whole second part of the season. So top class attacker is a priority to me.
Ofc hopefully we get DM as well.

Yeah thats my guess. We'll end up buying Branthwaite for more than Romero so will be awful business in the short term. We'll use Richarlsion to soften the blow so probably hand over between 30-40m on top.
I don't think Brantwaite is worth any investment over 50m but Levy seems obsessed with paying the english tax. We are literally linked with every top England player who's not at a top club
