I think we should be purchasing rather than loaning for such a key position, we need someone fully committed.
Would be my preference too. Baleba/Wharton would both cost over 70m I'd imagine so just doesn't feel like a move we'll make.

Maybe we'll find a hidden gem who's cheaper but chances are we will cheap out so it'll be a gamble. Luiz feels like a safe bet but only a short term fix

Albeit rumours it’s interesting that we’re being linked with ACM’s and both left and right wide forwards.

Gibbs-White and Damsgaard

Garnacho, Grealish, Simons, Mbeumo, Semenyo, Nenes

With Tel expected to stay it’s looking more and more likely that Son will leave.

Have him share mins with Maddison for the no10 role, you'd see a serious level of competition for both players and they'd push each other.
Yup, and you could definitely play them both against certain opponents and situations.

I think getting another creative outlet is essential for us this summer, we are much too reliant on Maddison atm.

Eze is the perfect choice, and we should do that deal under whatever circumstances, but Gibbs-White is a quality target as well.

I can envisage a situation where Paratici is going to get us Douglas Luiz on the cheap. Maybe a loan with the option to buy..

And it would actually be good business. Currently, he's every bit as good as Wharton and Baleba although the other two are better long term signings. I'd love if we could splash 70-100m on one of them but thats just not Spurs.

Luiz fits the bill perfectly. 160k a week is steep but if we only have him on loan with no obligation then its a typical spurs move.

Good thing about Luiz is that I think the price will be reasonable and he's got pl experience and a top pro. I'm fairly sure too that paratici will be all over this one.

Luiz and bergvall would make a lovely double pivot and gray and bentancur would also be great pair to rotate will.

Luiz actually has that ability to dictate tempo, pops it about with fluidity and ease. Would be massive for cl games especially aswell as games in pl where teams sit back.
