They're too high to get over, too low to get under...
And Gordon Durie, there are exceptions but, it rarely happens. Certainly won't happen now
the data driven approach..There's a few articles about that the club are interested in signing Adem Zorgane, apparently his primary position is defensive midfield, he's Algerian, plays in Belgium, and our club's representatives were impressed by him when they went to see our lads at Westerlo and he was in the opposing team. The transfer fee being mentioned is £8.5m.
I'm not sure the reports are even true.
Yeah! Would love for us to have a winger that moonwalked his way forward, grabbing his crouch!
This is what was posted there:
Would we not be able have a larger roster with more quality CT players available? I mean I understand we used academy players in those spots at times last season, but they were not really going to be played. Getting in a player that you might actually play in a really competitive match would be different, no?
So only two add-ons to the team that finished 17th?I really do not understand how Levy's mind works. Having said publicly he wants to win the CL and the PL, surely he realises he needs to buy 2 - 3 new players to improve the first team by the start of pre-season training for the new manager to have any chance of being competitive this season? And by competitive I mean finishing in the top 5. Winning the league is another story altogether.
If we just signed Mbeumo and Eze we have a decent chance of a good season (assuming Frank can get a tune out of Sarr, Bentancur, Bergvall, Gray and Bissouma in CM).
Sell: Son, Richarlison, Davies, Bissouma (and all the loanees who will not make it with us - Gil , Veliz etc.)
Vicario
Porro -- Romero -- VdV -- Udogie
Bentancur -- Bergvall
Mbeumo -- Maddison -- Eze
Solanke
Subs from: Kinsky, Spence, Danso, Dragusin, Vuskovic, Davies, Gray, Sarr, Bissouma, Kulusevski, Tel, Odobert, Moore, Johnson
Or MAYBE 98% of all the transfer " news" on the internet are bullshit?Maybe and I know it’s a hard to believe for some on here , but perhaps Daniel was lying about his ambition .
Had hoped we might get him - he's a year or more advanced than Bergvall was when he came to join Spurs (although about same age), but just come back after an ACL taking him out for best part of a year.
Knows Bergvall very well, so an easy transition. Last time Bergvall chose Spurs over Barcelona much to their shock, but this time unless anything last minute changes we lose out this time.
Roony plays RW, where we should get Yang coming through but think Roony might be more of an instant impact, Yang might need another 6 months or so before he's ready for Spurs ?
I like Cirkin, but whereas he's the starter at just promoted to PL Sunderland, he'd be a back up at Spurs. Plays LB, big enough to play LCB but don't think he has played there for a couple of years. Was a favourite youth player when Mourhino here as coach, probably a good sign
The tweet gives as the source a French journalist 'expert on PL' for several French publications ........ so not sure as to its reliability.
Scarlett isn't good enough and will probably be moved on, you can see another loan for Donley and Devine this season although I'd love to bring Donley back in and give him a run out in cup games, had a great season at Orient and is 20 now so must be getting time to see what he can do with first team players around him. Vuskovic will have only been here a year by next season so will need another one, not sure about Phillips as he's been shipped out on loan the entire time he's been here? Did hear they'd changed the rules around loan players gaining CT status for their parent clubs though. If Cirkin has a ceiling high enough to be a good PL player who can play some games in the CL, then it makes more sense than KWP for the CT quota.
Personally still don’t see the logic signing players for one year of CT issues when Gray, Bergvall and Vuskovic are all CT next season. Devine, Donley, Phillips? Even Scarlett? Might all be CT next season as well
