Spoiler alert, 2 of the 5 candidates to replace Romero if he’s sold are already at the club
The other 3 are Guehi who they know is going to get offered higher wages elsewhere, Branthwaite who is a non-passing LCB, and Nathan Collins.
That’s why I’m not up for selling Romero because you know they already see Danso and Dragusin as the replacements.
I'm afraid Simons is too light weight for the PL.
So your whole point wasn’t about adding spots or not, it was if you think KWP is a CL caliber player? The OG notion that signing a CT player allows us to add another List A player on top.
Signing (eg) KWP achieves nothing other than adding KWP........ Who's not a CL caliber player. Ergo pointless.
Also he is kind of CL caliber player. There are at least eight teams that are more or less shit. After group stages it's a different story of course. So you’re whole point wasn’t about adding spots or not, it was if you think KWP is a CL caliber player?
Dawg- you made the same argument as me- and you didn’t rebut any notion of needing CT to fill the roster, just count (3v4). You just don’t think Cirkin or KWP are good enough to warrant playing.
Thats fair but that doesn’t mean we couldn’t still gain “extra” roster spots by filling those spots with players you are willing to actually play.
I can't see AM stumping up70mil
Could be wrong, but what we don't want is for him to go for nothing at the end f his contract.
Extend his contract, bumper pay rise and Captaincy.

Not this again
We aren’t going to be seriously competing with Liverpool so no need to worry about keeping up with them.Slot is making liverpools midfield inpenetrable. We need to better that. Gooner I know but merson last season was spot on saying our midfield is a problem. Bergvall, bentacur and sarr i like but we need to add two top midfielders. Last season got smashed by liverpool 3 times as overun by midfield. Mind you foolish tactics by ange playing 4-3-3. Liverpool played 4-2-3-1. Ineffect we were outnumbered by 2 in midfield.
Bryan Gil says HiNot this again
After sane, Silva, sterling, etc this whole "physicality" theory has long been demolished
I have a lot of faith in Sarr too. Ok, he had a bad season, but that must be mostly down to our kamikaze tactics! Hopefully Frank can set him back on the right pathWe aren’t going to be seriously competing with Liverpool so no need to worry about keeping up with them.
We have a lot of great talent and I think Franks pragmatic tactics will make everyone look much better than we were last season. I’ve great faith in Bergvall and Sarr personally.
You’re not the only one
