True but I’d rather a winger and striker over 2 wingersWe need an orthodox centre mid too mate. For me. Simmons Eze Ederson. This would make us a way more difficult proposition for the Newcastles and Brightons.

You make out as though we will play in a particular way, which I presume is based on the car crash of last season.
I think we need an improved midfield, and on that basis we need better options. Eze fits that category. How he is deployed and how we play under Frank is something we will find out in due course.
If you are saying let's fill the obvious weakness in the striker positions, as in another as well as Solanke, or that we need better fullback options first, then hmmmmm, but our engine is the midfield and last season it was average at best, partly because of poor tactics and secondly because it's not as good as we need.
No striker there though, reckon we need one.We need an orthodox centre mid too mate. For me. Simmons Eze Ederson. This would make us a way more difficult proposition for the Newcastles and Brightons.
Watching paint dry would be fun with ShadyFuck , I don’t know Shady , I really don’t’
I know this sounds super weird but , I don’t know what we are doing but I always enjoy doing it with you
Tel was the marquee signingThe Marquee signing will be in the wide position to replace Son. Everything else will be kids and random nobodies.
It was a few years back. Levy interview on the stadium I think. He was sat down, slightly left of center in the shot looking to his left at the camera, to our right as the viewer. Maybe around the time of the infamous Cambridge Student Union speech.
He said “of course we all want to win trophies…” then the famous line.
Thanks Harry Vaginola.
Signing a French international from Bayern of Munich is GENERALLY considered a marquee signing, so...
i'd guess we keep richy as it gives levy another year to hope he isn't a complete bustI get the impression that we will only sell one of Son/Richy and keep the other. And latest reports suggest selling Son is just as likely now. Frank might like Richarlison
I think you need to chill on the presumptions a little and focus on what my argument is not what you want it to be.
As I keep saying Eze is a specialist as an inside 10 where he's allowed to roam for Crystal palace and come infield, now unless Frank is going to setup exactly the same way when he's never played that formation in his life then I'm struggling to see where he fits.
He's not an out and out winger and we already have two 10's at the club so where does he exactly fit? This is why I'm asking the question by the way, it's very easy to pine after a good player but no-one really wants to think about his exact fit in the team.
And above all else, if we spend £60m on him and have gaping holes at 6 and at RW where we are in more of a desperate need to fill those positions then what is the actual point?
Yup and he's a massive upgrade on any of our other back up strikers (Scarlett, Veliz, Lankshear). If we sell Richarlison then we need to sign another striker or else we are leaving Frank short. Losing Son won't effect us too much as guys like Tel and Moore are already able back up who can effect games.i'd guess we keep richy as it gives levy another year to hope he isn't a complete bust
Hopefully we can find good loan destinations where they can continue to grow and play well so Levy can sell for profit without them making a single appearance for the club.
he's going to play on the left or centrally and be given freedom to find where he fits on the pitch and with his teammates. he's a top shelf player and we're going to give him a big platform to express himself. he will be in the preferred starting 11 over everyone we have now. is that a clear enough response or are you just going to keep going with your little contrarian dance?I think you need to chill on the presumptions a little and focus on what my argument is not what you want it to be.

Whilst I agree that the midfield needs bolstering, and Eze is definitely one to improve our creativity, I do think that our midfield is better than it's given credit for. In the correct setup and structure, I do think we'll see a marked improvement there. You make out as though we will play in a particular way, which I presume is based on the car crash of last season.
