I thought Sancho, Zirkzee, Deligt, Ugarte, Onana and Hojlund were very good players before putting a United shirt on.
Not saying they performed since.

I think Mbeumo and Cunha would start for us, or at least offer excellent attacking options for us. so I'm pretty jealous that United can attract that quality of player when they're essentially in the bin at the moment
We can attract that type of player. Just don't think we value them at £450,000 a week. Also think Solanke was exactly that type of player last year and scored more.I think Mbeumo and Cunha would start for us, or at least offer excellent attacking options for us. so I'm pretty jealous that United can attract that quality of player when they're essentially in the bin at the moment
Stanley Matthew’s also played in the 40sI don't think we'll play a lone 6 role, I think Frank is more likely to setup a double pivot and I think him alongside another DM under Frank's guidance could work.
Wharton isn't even a lone 6 at Palace either by the way, not many players can play a lone 6 successfully, requires so many skills and maturity.
I think both can grow into that role eventually though.
United more desperate than we are, a club of their size and history finishing 15th with zero trophies is beyond a disgrace.I think Mbeumo and Cunha would start for us, or at least offer excellent attacking options for us. so I'm pretty jealous that United can attract that quality of player when they're essentially in the bin at the moment

The point is simple, a 31 year old carries a greater risk of dropping off considerably compared to a 25 year old.Everybody’s body is different and you can’t use Casimeiro as an example if you don’t use Modric as an example. Guys like sonny have a bigger drop off because pace is a massive part of his game but for sitting midfielders it’s completely different.
IMHO they’re all pretty bang average.I thought Sancho, Zirkzee, Deligt, Ugarte, Onana and Hojlund were very good players before putting a United shirt on.

He is a 6 that doesn’t play 6 and couldn’t lock that position down for Leeds in the Championship or for Spurs worst ever performing PL side'cos he's a #6...?
I sort of know what you mean with Mbeulo, because if the boot were on the other foot, ie: another club could offer CL football + his newly installed former manager, who wouldn't JUMP at the chance? and we could have no complaints., but that's US this time!
So you either have to assume it's just money.... OR Mbeulo loves Man Utd SO much as it was his boyhood club, and THEY'RE the ONLY Big Club he's consider (shame Darren Bent didn't have the same principles!!!)
....don't worry... Eze's coming!
Then Levy is as thick as pig shit. Our squad has so many weaknessess it was not all just Ange had no clue and the fact that we do not have a second string is one of them it was a big reason we lost 22 Games.United more desperate than we are, a club of their size and history finishing 15th with zero trophies is beyond a disgrace.
they can ill afford finishing outside the top half again, they were beaten by us 4 times last season 9-3 on ag. their need will feel greater to push on, than it will for Levy who's line of thinking is probably
'if we had a better manager we'd have won the Europa and finished top 5 with the same squad'
the man u board however probably blame a shit squad rather than a shit manager at this point so they'll pay high prices and high wages to turn it around quickly
theres currently 7 more attractive clubs in the league, chucking excess money about is all they can do right now. its good to watch, they are living dangerously.I've never understood why Yanited need to bribe players so much money to join them. You'd think it'd be enough - if they were so attractive - to offer Cunha the same terms he's just signed at Wolves to play for them instead.
The longer it goes the better our chances for Mbuemo if we want him!
.......
Our 'fanbase' believing what Goldbridge says!.....fml.....![]()

if united dont overpay, why would any player go there? its a long way off from being how it was in 2010. they are also in a serious rut, you ainty going to risk going there unless you are being seriously caked up for it.I could understand it when QPR were signing players they had no right to (mark hughes era?) and paying them double their worth, but so backwards for united to be doing it whilst laying off general admin staff when claiming to need to for money reasons.
I'm sure it worked out for QPR though
It's all personal opinion but I thought they were all very good players before they went there.IMHO they’re all pretty bang average.
Sancho maybe flattered to deceive, but none of them really showed enough to warrant the bonkers transfer fees United paid.

Just think we didn't use Johnson properly last season. There's definitely a player in there. He was the top scorer last season that alone proves he is a talent. The people dismissing Johnson are the people who have always dismissed him.
Top scorer last season.
Scored the winning goal in a cup final and numerous other important goals.
He'll be important for us again this season and he'll still get hate.
