But I won’t do that

I would do anything for Spurs
100%This is always such a stupid dichotomy because it acts like it’s some kind of deliberate decision to either aim for top 6 or aim for trophies. But what makes you most likely to win trophies is having a squad that is regularly competitive in the Premier League and routinely playing in Europe. “Being in the big six” dramatically increases our chances of winning a cup because it makes us richer and makes us a more enticing destination for higher caliber players. Aiming for 11th place as long as it comes with the odd League Cup once a decade isn’t a good strategy unless your goal is to be West Ham.
Well I hear you, a little heavy if I'm honest, but if I felt as strongly as you obviously do I would make it my mission to beat "The System", (my addiction) that is in place by rejecting it outright.Like I wrote, they're just the new Gladiator arena games.
People are sheep, slaves to their passions, and the greatest passion out there is Football, on a global scale.
We're irrelevant in that the wealthy, who basically run the game, know how to control those passions, and the masses lap it all up.
Let me ask you this, in what World is it right that a human being, kicking around an inflated ball of leather, should be paid millions each year (even the most mediocre professionals are earning in excess of a million a year) when people who truly matter have to work for a decade to earn what these players earn in a month?
Yet, not only do we lap all this up, WE demand that their extortionate wages are INCREASED!!!
We are controlled to the point that we DEMAND these players being paid more!
We're irrelevant because they already control the masses. They provide a drug that is impossible to kick, and like true junkies, we demand more and more of it.
Football used to be the people's game. It used to be affordable. It used to have friendly rivalries, in stadiums where rival fans could mingle and still enjoy the game.
It's not that any more. It's a corporate entity where the be all and end all is money.
Burkinshaw said there used to be a Football Club over there about us. The truth of the matter is that there are no longer Football clubs, just corporate enterprises masquerading as Football clubs all across the World. But we're addicted to them so, even though we can recognise this truth, there's fuck all we'll ever do about it.
He is so emberassing.Hi JOHN THOMAS
Care to explain why you vanished around the time we won a major trophy and when you returned you posted fuck all about it?
We are still waiting for your explanation.

I'm no different to the masses, I'm addicted to it too, but I recognise the fact that I'm part of the problem. I also recognise that I have a snowball's chance in Hell of ever convincing anyone else of it. No one wants to admit that they're a junkie being controlled.Well I hear you, a little heavy if I'm honest, but if I felt as strongly as you obviously do I would make it my mission to beat "The System", (my addiction) that is in place by rejecting it outright.

Well you had me fooledWell for me it was so that people wouldn’t recognise me anyone after my silly early posts. I used to be called TOMO but after several dumb posts I amended to Tomo so that nobody would ever know that was me.

Well yeah …. Hence why I’d bite your hand off for an FA cupNot 10th and an FA Cup though!
More likely we finish top half and no trophy in my opinion..
That's as things stand, squad-wise. I'll revise in line with incomings/outgoings.
What a superb line. Honestly couldn't have put it better myself. We are the biggest club in the world, by far, that absolutely refuses to behave like a big club.
Joking aside, I often wonder why a fucking football club should be building hotels and residential tower blocks anyway
One can fuck right off.....From your reply one can clearly see your lack of intelligence.
Btw, Spurs have also won under Levy (twice) - something you don't seem to be aware of

Ok, but will you still need me and will you still feed me if a I do?Am I missing something, why do people change their names on here?

I’m not shy in saying that I believe him to be a monumental wanker and I’m astounded he is able to post on here without being voted into the bin every six minutes. However, I don’t think his name change was anything to with anything particularly. Probably just wanted to change it. Certainly hasn’t been trying to hide what he was named previously. Some people have done it in the past when their username has been relevant to a player or manager that leaves.
In this particular case, I think it was to escape infamy.
