I don’t have an issue with people posting it or taking it seriously when they shouldn’t if I’m honest . It’s a forum and without people debating spurious rumours this would be about 5 pages right now . It’s not like there is anything real to sink our teeth into and debate . Just know when you debate it , you may well be debating something as real as Elvis being alive and working at a Burger King in Walsall .

They are not my crew and why would I push back , I think we will have an underwhelming window . The reality might be we missed out on different decent opportunities, or that we signed kids , or opportunistic punts but underwhelmed I expect to be .

Maybe it's just my own personal experience of "Hey, I'm 27... wait, when did I turn 30", but I get the feeling he'd be a bit of a Walcott in that he'd be expected to be a bit more of a international regular and/or have tempted a top 4 club more by now.
I know hindsight is always hypocritical with football fans, but it seems like the same arguments apply that did to other expensive but underwhelming transfers - yet it's being made out like he's some kind of prime Bale for £68m.
He's good but I just don't know if he's as obviously a no-brainer transfer as is being suggested
It's very hard to judge atm. As others have said, Ange was such an atrocious manager, we don't really know what our current players could do with someone who doesn't call football round ball rugby.
