But we do. Both Richy and Solanke were about the same prize bracketWe don't do that, mate.
Not when we think we can do it cheaper.

I think around 10th, assuming bodies stay reasonably healthy. Perhaps we could ride a favorable draw to a run in a domestic cup.If we went into next season with this exact squad we have now? Where SHOULD we finish?
Yeah we are lopsided with good defenders (if they can stay fit) and really uninspiring attackers.
Our starting keeper should be better than good & useful. We went from Hugo to Vicario...Sure, though Vicario did come significantly cheaper and is a good and useful player.
We need to stop looking at Micky like he's Maldini reincarnated. He's been nowhere near...but of course he could still become world class. Then you look at that summer and those savings lead us to be able to be aggressive and get Micky Van De Ven over the line.
He's cheaper and that is the only thing that matters to Levy.

Postecoglou said that after the January transfer window closed he decided he would focus the team's attentions on winning the Europa League. Surely that means the league wasn't the priority from then onwards.

Apparently Eze wanted to move to the Goons in 2020 when he played for QPR but they didn't want him there then. The report also claims he's a supporter of that club. From Eze to Kudus is classic. Go on, you take the premium talent, the players who have been lighting up the league recently, and we’ll take that bloke everyone’s forgotten about.
Might do well but it’s just classic lack of ambition all round.
