I wouldn't assess them until Frankball is starting to gel.Bergvall looks like the only really good signing of the bunch imo.

Ffs eze goes straight into our starting 11. Can you not see that! He is miles better than any of left sided forwards. Also can play the 10. Why we are interested in quality player gawd knows. Are you happy with our left sided options. Not to labor the point but I’d much rather have eze out there than players like Wilson , tel, Johnson , Richi etc.
Yang and Moore are young, one of them will go out on loan maybe both. I’d say there’s a good chance Son leaves this summer and even if he doesn’t he’s got one year left and his ability to work shooting angles and get shots off has dropped off a cliff. I’m really struggling to see one side lacking depth and quality over the other. There’s enough depth there there’s just a lack of quality on both sides.
Quality is what you’d get from Eze. You’re saying he’s not a natural left winger and then list Tel, Son who are more inside forwards and Moore and Yang who drift and dribble inside onto their stronger foot as quality and depth options on the left.
Eze might float around the pitch now but for QPR and under Hodgson he played on the left, even now he starts wide and then might drift in with or without the ball. I can’t see Frank or any football manager not working with that and he’s going to have to as some of those quality and depth options you listed on the left are like that and they are all different. Maybe Odobert being maybe what you might see as a natural winger.
Maddison, always starts deeper helps us progress the ball from defence through midfield, he’s not really a ten in the sense he just stays in front of the opposition defence looking for the ball, he’s really a scheming midfielder, moves all around that area. He doesn’t get in Kulusveskis way when he plays on the right and he likes to drift in and that’s really what woul happen with Eze on the left. I’m struggling with this idea that players will get in each others way. Footballs a bit more intuitive than that. When you’re playing you’re naturally finding the spaces and where you should be. If Madder drops deeper then maybe one of the wide players will move more inside to give that vertical passing option, if he picks it up further forward players can hold their width more as a starting position,
footballs more about attributes than anything. It’s a moot point because it doesn’t look like he’s coming here but Eze would have really given us that great ball retention and ability to open up space in the final third. Oh well
We finished 17th so that's clearly up for debate. Most of our signings have shown nothing to suggest they are good enough.Take out the top 4, our squad has improved more than any of our competitors for that 5th spot since we last finished 5th.
Pretty confident that’s beyond debate.
If we sack of the cups and go out the CL early, there’s really zero reason to expect any less than 5th
Why don't we just get Grealish and Rashford on loan for the season?
Improves both wings for a season until we find out if Odobert, Tel, Moore, Yang are good enough.
Could probably get them for 200k pw each. With United chipping in for Rashford. Seems better than giving WHam 60m+. We can use that money on a gun DM.

Levy, on Monday..."We want to win the Premier League....and the Champions League"
Levy, on Tuesday..."I am delighted to announce Thomas Frank. Who hasn't won a thing in his managerial career"

I’m talking myself into Kudus being the next Dembele
He’s pretty basic - hard working , mid table strikeryeah because a squad without Solanke and no other striker is stronger than a squad with Solanke, a full England international.
Come on now, be genuine here
We don't have a single player with his talent.
In my opinion a better option for us than Eze. I didn't necessarily mean better i just said option in the position we need to fill.

The only defender that is absolutely 'irreplaceable' at our club is Micky Van de Ven imo. Romero is very good though on his day and at least worth £60m in today's market. If he really wants to go? Good luck!
Semenyo link definitely, would have been happy with him or Eze as they both have real quality on the ball. I’d probably have Semenyo as the top pick as he’s younger and great off the ball as well.Fine, well argued tbh - still don't agree though
As you said it's academic because he isn't coming anyway...personally I was more excited with the Semenyo link and the current Kudus one.
Seems to be a lack of quality DMs available in the market this summer. Palhinha? Luiz? Both have their risks. Not really seeing or hearing any credible links to any more.
Plus we seem to be stockpiling CBs.
Does this mean we aren’t in the market for a DM as we are going to be playing 3/5 at the back?
How confident would everyone be if this is how we went into the new season, with our midfield options still being Bent, Biss, Sarr, Berg and maybe Gray?
Also - statistical fact: All first time winners had previously won nothing. We have hired managers who have won multiple titles all across Europe.
Where did that get us?
This is based on what exactly?Since we finished 5th, our squad got stronger than Villa and Newcastle's.
Bergvall aside, who do you have in mind?Well that's not true at all.
But how about you wait and see how our players get on with a competent coach.
