I don't think West Ham will do anything until Chelsea gets a chance to upset the bid. The comment you often hear is that Spurs aren't doing anything. I don't think that's the case, so much as the teams with top players who are being moved are waiting for the big guys to sort out who they will overpay for. Until that happens not much is going to go on.
So you admit that the rhetoric around the stadium being a game changer was just a lie then?

We don’t/can’t buy players when they are at peak value so we are taking a punt that moving to Spurs will get Kudus back to his best form.

I agree. Let the top of the market sort it itself out and go after attainable players in positions of need first. Save back enough to come in at the end when some deals for the first level of players blow up, as they always do. Get a couple of useful, mid-range players signed and in camp.

We used to be front of the queue signing top players. But weve regressed so much over years were economising and buying B list players or youngsters we hope come good. And if they do come good theyre sold to an elite club. Harsh reality and pretty shit tbh.
How many more times, what you the oracle or something. You know what Levy’s thinking? Wouldn’t it make more sense that Levy thought something that nearly happened once/twice in 26 years was perhaps not the way to go probability wise and a change of approach might be necessary if he’s not planning to live to 800, I mean being an intelligent man and all.
How was/is it a model? We chop and change direction all the time. If it was a model he thought could be repeated , why wait until now? It was lightning in a bottle a once in a lifetime academy centre forward coming through coupled with a great young manager and competition that were either going through transition/hadn’t been taken over.
We’re not lying to ourselves, we’re just desperate to see something. Levy’s lying to us.
