Wouldn’t it make more sense that Levy thought something that nearly happened once/twice in 26 years was perhaps not the way to go probability wise and a change of approach might be necessary if he’s not planning to live to 800, I mean being an intelligent man and all.
How was/is it a model? We chop and change direction all the time. If it was a model he thought could be repeated , why wait until now? It was lightning in a bottle a once in a lifetime academy centre forward coming through coupled with a great young manager and competition that were either going through transition/hadn’t been taken over.
