Well yeah luckily we don’t have a manager with such a simplistic view of football and he clearly knows a team that came 17th need to sign players for next season.
Ok. I mean, it is quite early in the window. That’s more a fact than an excuse. Doesn’t mean we shouldn’t be spending, but still a fact nevertheless.
Reserving judgement at close of the window is too early for me. I’d rather judge at the end of a career. Every season someone like West Ham or Everton “win the window” and do fuck all.
And it does take time too. Sometimes. Sometimes not. Some clubs get some transfers done fast. Some others seem they do, as they keep things quiet until the end. Some clubs struggle to get stuff over the line. Man Utd did Cunha in about 10 minutes. However, how’s Mbuemo looking?

May very well be. How do either of us know who we have tried to sign? We don’t. And we certainly, 100% do not know that Kudus is a player the manager desperately wants.
And I do have a simplistic view, that’s fair. But where, in any of my posts in the past page or two, have you seen me say we shouldn’t sign any players?
