I don't mean to be obtuse here, but how did Chelsea "cheat" exactly?

They made a joke of the sport in the Mourinho era but there weren't rules against it at that time, and the rule-makers have bent (shamefully, but they have) to legitimize everything Boehly has done.

Now CITY cheated. Caught red handed defrauding the actually existing rules and lying about it. But am I missing something with Chelsea?

- They've been busted over their academy multiple times (which has been a hugely important cog in them maintaining the facade of being remotely on point with their financials).
- Trf ban (s).
- Long list of dubious trf activity with regarded to bungs and agents still in the ether...... Which Boehly himself confessed to finding.
- Only today fined 20m for breaking PSR; breaches that allowed them to build a squad so big they had another squad to play in the EConfLg which they - lo and behold - won.

Nonsense

If Garnacho can keep his head on straight he's going to the very top. Which is a fair worry but it's not as if Kudus is a model professional either.

Reports that Garnacho is desperate to stay in the PL tell me the right thing about the trajectory he wants for his career.

United are also much more desperate to sell than West Ham are.

Thanks - you saved me some typing. You just know we will end up with Kudus, on the basis that it seems as though Frank likes the player.

It's not even bias on my part. I never thought when we played Weat Ham, watch out for Kudus. I was very pleased when Garnacho did not start against us in the final and concerned when he came on.

I just can't see the appeal.

Yeah, I can see your point and half agree with it.

My sort-of difference of opinion goes back to the very early 70s and a horrific experience at the Bridge with my mum, then a horrific experience at Orient c. 1982 with my flat mate, a hippy Chelsea fan, being sat in the main stand with blokes who must have fought in the war (we were in our early 20s, these cunts were 40 or so years older), them all zieg heiling (we left at HT, only time in my life I have done).

So I can understand it as my hatred for Arsen@l is sort of in my DNA, but my hatred for Chelse@ is based on personal experience, real fact.

Does that make sense?
Totally fair mate. I'm a much younger fan so never really had that type of relationship with Chelsea. To me they just always spent stupid money and 99% of their fanbase which I know didn't support them before the Roman money. They just feel like such an irrelevance to me but appreciate that it's different for everyone.

I quite like how they never trigger me because we so easily trigger them. Woolwich are a totally different story. I genuinely nearly prefer to see them lose than see us win lol

Odobert has done nothing so far that suggests he is already better than Dibling. Both are young players with everything still to prove

Yeah he has

Just watch them both play

Odobert is 2 footed, dribbles both ways with his head up, can shoot and cross with both feet and is quicker on both acceleration and top speed

Dibling is like a Grealish type but left footed and head down. Not very quick but just physically advanced for his age.

Possibly but I don’t think so and certainly not to the continued levels of the oil dippers. They spend more than us but they generate more than us overall, annoyingly mostly in success based returns eg CL money, PL etc

The figure tossed about was 400-500m (£? $? I dunno)..... Daunting if true; and on top of the money from winning the EPL!

But yeh; broadly I'd still agree that LFC & AFC are the teams we ought to feel closest to being able to financially emulate...... It's the constant whining about what CFC, MC & MU do that gets on my tits.

Cheating is breaking the rules and Chelsea keep finding loopholes around the rules so you are technically right that they have not cheated yet.

But Chelsea are so dirty man. It's clear as day that what they've done is wrong but they've cooked the books to cover their arses. Selling hotels and their women's teams to parent companies and writing off bad debts just so they can show blown up revenues. That's dirty. To me it's cheating. They just got away it it. They are no better than city.

In fact Chelsea have always been the biggest problem. They set the standard and always have. PSG and City followed their model but the rules changed to stop them. Chelsea just timed it all right.

I think we should be competing with Woolwich as well , but we most definitely are not . We had them on the ropes but let them off. They should not have been able to overtake us and pull away so easily

Oh yeah, forgot about that.

Gael Kakuta, still playing!

I mean Chelsea are a bunch of cunts and always have been and will be, but the 2009 tapping up controversy does not strike me as something of grand transcendent meaning either way.

That's just the way you act when you're a jumped-up QPR cosplaying as a big club. QED.

We have had a few now I thought I had answered everything
What is outstanding and I will answer , not trying to be evasive

I asked you this:

"If it turned out all along that we'd been cheating (repeatedly!); do you not feel it would be a stain on our club and it's legacy and undermine any silverware gained during that period?"

All I got in return was some snide remark about being on my "high horse".
