Really interesting to see what formation Frank will largely use with our squad. I know he has been known to play a back 5 in bigger away games, but I suspect he will largely play a 4-3-3 / 4-2-3-1 hybrid with a double pivot. I would suggest we need 5 WFs and, if we sign Kudus:
Kudus, Tel, Son, Johnson, Kulusevski, Odobert, Solomon, Gil, Yang, Moore
I'd send the latter 2 on loan to Championship clubs, with Jonson or Tel potentially converted into a ST by Frank, or Kulusevski used more as a 10 (and sell Solomon and Gil for a combined £25m)

It is a tactic of ours though for sure. Put in a lower bid than the club wants and then get the player to agitate for a move to us in order to see if it helps the club relent on the price.

Why would you accept £50m now when you have the potential of other clubs bidding now and activating the release clause, makes sense for them to hold out for another few days, no?

Why would a club go anywhere near the release clause when it's out in the media that hammers need to sell and will settle at around 60m. Hammers are trying their best to get Chelsea involved and can't blame them but even Chelsea won't go past a figure that West ham journos are saying they will sell for and we won't get into a bidding war so we won't drive up the price. Hammers have had a mare with this one
