I could see him working for a counter attack team maybe. He is a powerful runner in the channels but for a team that dominates the ball and faces a load of deep blocks, there is a high risk of Lukaku pt 2 in him moving there. IMO of course. And I'm wrong all the time.

The way this window is going I wish we could defend our Europa next season, we are going to get embarrassed in the Champions league.
I'm also fucked off that the club got a financial windfall which won't go towards players but that imp Levy and the other board members will no doubt give themselves big bonuses.
This squad has no business being in the CL

My point really is that "tax dodging" really sanitizes what the class of person for which Lewis is a perfect (and pretty individually wretched) exemplar have done and are doing to the world and its institutions. The Lewis Class has cost immeasurably more human life and human suffering in the world than the Abramovich Class, despite the latter being basically intentionally malevolent and violent.

And the other thing is that Joe Lewis did not grow up in an anarchic failed state, though he's doing his best to leave one behind.

Yeah you know you did the same thing again. All I did was respond honestly to a point YOU erroneously made. I HATE Lewis and Levy but I'm not pretending the harm Lewis has objectively caused (Argentina land grabs included) match up to RA satanic shit.
