isn't that fairly standard procedure for big clubs - Real Madrid do it and United used to in the Fergie days back when they were relevant

I do get a chuckle out of some supporters who act like we're a socio that's going to have elections next year or something.

THST is a wankfest. I applaud CFT but they've got a lot of ground to recover from the whole "tourist" debacle if you ask me. Neither group, realistically, has a snowballs chance in hell of dislodging Levy.

I got nothing against AFCON (and obviously nothing against African players...yes, saying that for you LP), but someone in power gotta do something about that tourney.

No way should it be played every two years...the Euros and - if I'm not mistaken - the Copa America are played every 4 years.

And no way should it take place in Dec/Jan. Fuck that. I know it's like 60 degrees in the summer but who pays them players' wages, eh?! Not having a dude you pay 100s of 1000s of quid per week for a whole month and in some cases getting them back injured, that's just a pisstake.

Obviously Africa should have a continental championship like everybody else, and the climate of Africa makes playing that tournament in the summer very difficult. I am sympathetic to the issues there.

But add on the every two years thing and it really is just ridiculous and genuinely hurts their best players, whose stardom helps drive the game forward on that continent. Bad equilibrium.

I read that Frank thinks a lot of him, (when he was managing Brentford) but perhaps he feels that Gray, Bergvall and Bentancur can fill out that position plus he may have thoughts on a player we have that he likes?

If the money is right I think we should sell, thought Bissouma did play well the last two or three rounds of the EL, and vey well in the final.

Hotspur Related does have a large following, and though that doesn't guarantee factual info, it's likely more accurate than not?
