We should sell him to west ham. We normally dump our rubbish there. Davenport was the best one.

Ok, lets sign two players for either side at £30m each who arent HG. In what alternate reality does that happen at this club?the old KWP shout again. Ok let’s sign an average player just because he’s HG!! That’s ambition right there

Yeah he was bad and quite bitter we let him go. He was championship standard. Davenport was the worst though imo. When he played i feared the worst.
Yep it's definitely one way trafficWe should sell him to west ham. We normally dump our rubbish there. Davenport was the best one.
City/Pool/Chelsea/WoolwichIt's just plain fact, we all know what the club is capable of doing, BUT we all know well and good what the club actually does under ENIC.
There is no 'should be setting our heights higher' and getting angry that we aren't going for big names on big wages. There's just the reality of our situation.
we just don't do that, doesn't matter if we finish 2nd, or 17th. win nothing or win the Europa league, we have our pond that we swim in. And it's not were Man City, Liverpool, Arse and Chelsea live

It’s the misers biggest blind spot too. It’s crippled us over the last 5-10 years…..always dragging out sales for every last quid, instead sell and move on quickly (within reason). That is actually a great role for Paratici - selling players. He loves a deal and gets deals doen quickly.

also too raheem sterling is a late bloomer super starI won't bother after a long day's work going back through this thread to see all the juciy links and lined up deals. If we are relitigating Bissouma non charge we must be back to in praise of Roman Abramovich and aren't Woolwich great. DEPRESSING.

bro the preason starting is just the next phase of levy's leverage soon to be followed by 'the season has started' and then 'the window is closing' which will all culminate in 'we'll get him much cheaper in january' and 'no one sells in january'Worrying that there are little to no credible links to a No. 6 and another midfielder. We have needed a No.6 for many a year and with Kulu out and only Maddison left to create, another similar type is essential.
Reckon Kudus drags on and don't put it past Levy trying to rinse Spammers if no one else is interested, let's just hope it doesn't end up like Grealish did a few yrs ago.
Pre season just around the corner, could do with getting your wallet out DL.

Just a shame about yet another Spurs manager being let down by his hierarchyAlways good to see another pre-season getting underway. I'm glad we have a very comprehensive coaching setup and all of frank is wanting.
Exciting to see what progression cochrane can make with the younger players we have. Despite being so downbeat about our transfer strategies I'm happy we made the choices we did regarding the coach and setup. It felt so headless chicken under ange.

sure but i don't think it's as common with lesser clubs. we're the lower tier of the giants so not sure top players are really that anxious to get out there and say tottenham 'til i die just so we can save a few quid when we're likely low balling them on wages too. a lot of these players don't want bad blood on the way out and likely want their current club to make as much as possible from the sale. does kudus really want to become even more of a villain by being seen as forcing the sale to a rival? i don't know, a classier club tries to shield the player rather than pressuring him to go out and flog the sale. (if that's what's happening here)isn't that fairly standard procedure for big clubs - Real Madrid do it and United used to in the Fergie days back when they were relevant
The hell does SHARE THE GOALS mean?! . They is no such thing as "hey! you score now I will score next! okay?"
A player that can score will score goals no matter what. Kane and Son was proof of that. Don't care how he does it, just do it.
I don't care how good his pressing is, a striker is nothing without goals. Raise your damn standards.
