Not an out and out 6 but Conor Gallagher might be a shout there as a busy cunt who still wins his fair share of tackles.

Looking at his Atletico appearances, most of them were from the bench or from the left. They’ve signed Baena now, so I’d imagine he’s first choice out there. Is he gonna be happy picking splinters out his arse all season with the World Cup coming up?

Can’t’ see any other top 6 team wanting him, Everton and Wolves are the two other clubs quoted as being interested in him. Despite his Chelsea ties and not wanting to join us from them last year because of that, surely we’re much more appealing a move to him than either of them.

Yeah thats my current preference for a midfield signing. He's not a proper DM but I don't like any DMs on the market bar Wharton/Baleba who just aren't realistic. I think the idea of Bentancur/Bergval sitting deep beside Gallagher's work rate should compliment itself. Gallagher can almost play that Kante/Rice type of role while Bentancur/Bergval helps with the build and possession patterns.
