I get why you’d say that but generally speaking we’ve seen him in a bunch of systems and we know that his ceiling is elite but the floor is diabolical and he’s not consistent across a full season.

What I'd say is:

- question whether we have the cash to get a genuinely elite 6 on top of MGW and Kudus. don't want a sidegrade
- we have three players who can play the 6 / pivot (Biss, Gray and Bent), and even Berg potentially. Two talents to develop and give decent amounts of minutes to
- a new manager can change everything. It really can. And Frank demands hard work, not snowboarding trips. We don't want to lose cash on biss for a free next summer, but I do think there's a good chance we could see a transformed player this season under Frank

Mental some of the takes I keep hearing, things change very quickly in football - last season was shite but it was always going to be temporary and like it or not this board have kept us in and around the top 6 in recent years hence why we are apart of the top 6. That isn't going to change for the foreseeable - everyone just needs to play their part in the footballing food chain especially in the Premier League, everyone has a position and we will always be nearer to the top of this league than the bottom, money talks.

We’re reminding a lot of clubs of their and our place in the pecking order and they don’t like, not one bit.

Our Europa league win is batted away at every turn - easiest Euro win ever nonsense, people seem to forget Chelsea playing their reserves until the final. Nearly every fan of a club you hear this from have as many trophies as a redneck has teeth. Disgusted us winning it means we’re in the CL and they have to move on from the trophy jokes. Annoyed that we won in it the least Spursy fashion ever - played poor an still won.

Now we’re seeing outrage because we’re flexing our muscles in the market for once.

I’m loving this summer, must have posted “warra trophy” on X at least 100 times now
