48 g/a last season vs 21 (league only) and people laugh react this because cognitive dissonance & can’t handle a different take even if it’s obviously valid.

I rate both MGW & Kudus so actually disagree with this but it’s obvious who are much more established and currently ‘successful’ players.

That's not developing a young player.

Mikey isn't good enough yet to just slot into Dortmund's XI, it would be a matter of bringing him along slowly and perhaps an odd start here or there. Jamie Gittens three years ago, not Jamie Gittens this year.

They go to all that trouble for Tottenham's benefit and then he just walks away? Why would Dortmund do that?

Whereas Mikey IS good enough to benefit West Brom right now, for instance.

If we don't do anything early next week then I wouldn't be surprised if our incomings are done. MGW is the exception as I imagine this will go on for a while due to Forest being fucking losers.

I doubt we'll be bringing key players in during/after the preseason tour which we're probably leaving for late next week.

Bit disappointing as there are clearly areas we needed to improve on but at the same time, new manager, big squad, lots of young players. Maybe he's happy with what he's got.

He certainly is. He's also lovely bellwether of some of weirds on this forum too. For a good long while pre Palace I'd say "He's a player we should get" Then he'd fall off their radar as they barely watch us play football let alone anyone else and we'd got Mickey VDV and they would pipe up "Oh what happened to that Lacroix they want us to waste 30 million on. See Daneil was right"Lol. Yeah now he's worth 60 and 'Daniel' is never right. Unless it's by accident. He might be the better of Palace's CB.
