If you want to quote Romano.Depends on the loss, doesn't have to be financial.
If, as reported by Romano, there was an agreement in place, which then led to the medical being booked, there are potential grounds for legal actions, as they could potentially have reneged on an agreement. If negotiations have taken place to lead to that agreement, it is likely they have been minuted. If they have, that is the type of written "proof" that can be used in a legal case, whether there is an official contract in place or not.
Lots of if's, but's and maybe's, but it just shows that the potential for legal actions is there, rather than your assertion that there is none.
This.I've known a couple of ex elite players and one said something I've never forgotten . He said the idea most of them 'do it for the money ' is bollocks. He said and I'm paraphrasing ' playing in a big game in a packed stadium is an insane high, scoring in this kind of game is the best, only mind blowing sex gets close."
The player I'm talking about played and scored in a Glasgow Derby, he said he'd have paid money to play in it. It's actually kind of obvious really, said the bigger untold story beyond the money fixation, is how the fuck do you replace it? He said depression among players after the career is incredibly common. You feel nothing will ever compare to it.
And also in your scenario, what is our loss ?
Surely we have gained 60m, and MGW is not only player out there, there just isn’t a loss from our perspective.
Freeman, Hardy and Willis were better.Morgan, Gibbs and White.....wern't they a 70's folk band?......![]()
I know, we have saved, not gained (and even then would spend elsewhere).I agree with you about no loss; but no... We haven't gained 60m merely by not spending it on MGW.
WTF are we discussing in this thread?Don't you usually announce a pregnancy after the 1st scan (12 weeks)?
I don't know, that's what Lawyers are for. What I'm stating here is that there's the possibility, whilst you've asserted that there is none.If you want to quote Romano.
Over the weekend he said Spurs booked the medical without Forests knowledge, and therefore permission, which is obviously in breach of the rules.

Take the 60m earmarked for MGW and plough it into the hotel
That would be the real power move
Must be something happening with Romero if we are in this much for ghey or zabarnyi

3/10My mum is a scouser and half my family are pool fans. They think Isak, Ghuei and Rodrigo are still to come.
If that happens their window is Kerkez, Wirtz, Fringpong, Isak, Eketete, Ghuei, Rodrigo.
Again, time will tell. They are dealing with someone who bends and breaks the rules and gets away with it all the time. The media and narrative is a valuable weapon. Why?
Waging some kind of mudslinging match via the clickbait merchants achieves nothing.
What's meaningful is what happens between the lawyers and at the negotiation table.
the only thing that makes sense to me is BFG is not honoring the release clause using easily disproved excuses and he thinks MGW won't push back and so far he's right. whoever said he's the greek trump is spot on. MGW has a lot going on atm and there's no rush yet but i suspect this still gets done late.Well but that's consistent with the reporting that Forest had been attempting to maintain confidentiality around that clause
The explanation that makes the most sense to me is that MGW did in fact knowingly breach the confidentiality of his release clause, given the timing perhaps out of frustration with Elanga getting the move up to CL club that MGW had wanted.
That still leaves questions unanswered but it's a more complete and parsimonious explanation than anything else I can think of.
unfortunately it's not our fight. if the player starts legal proceedings i'm sure will jump in and support but until then we waitWhy have we not made a public fuss to put pressure on Forest if everything has been done cleanly?
