It's a real double edged sword.

On one hand getting paulinha on a loan is smart to see if he's upto it without spending 25m or so.

On the other hand its a f*king cheapo move and a real penny pinching opportunity instead of top quality.

Levy and co are smart movers, but I stand by my current thoughts on the ownership and running of the club

We're such a teemu big club

EDIT: Does anyone else think they look miserable

Mark my words - in a few decades people will study photos like that an write paragraphs about how social media influenced certain poses and sultry looks to indicate 'power' and 'success', over natural gestures.

We might be better with a no nonsense number 6
But it won’t help us progress the ball up the pitch when teams block out our CBs and make it difficult for our current CMs, none of who like passing forward when under pressure.

We will be really defensively solid with Paulinha in front of a Frank coached defence. We will stay in matches and be competitive, but we will be lacking in progression.

But if the guys we like are not available it might be better to build that defensive solidity for a year and then add the pieces to make us more expansively down the line.

Palhinha would be a brilliant signing. He’s a nonsense number 6. A pure DM. Great hair ability. I would love it

Good player but 2 concerns.

1 his age, a pure DM between 30-33 they tend to rapidly decline.

2 we need someone in the deep with a passing range ideally.

Go no issue with his off the ball ability. He killed us multiple times when we played Fulham.

I wasn’t being serious , the post I replied to suggested we go for a nonsense number 6 .

My Brothers and I had a photo taken of us at my wedding. We were all suited and booted and all wearing sunglasses to the point where my Sister said we looked like a bunch of Mafia Dons, so we said we'd pose "Gangsta!"

The photo makes us look like we were all suffering from a bad case of piles!

My Sister still takes the piss out of us to this day.
