Well you do seem pleased, so I guess it worked.Surely the Ashley Phillips news should be enough to tide the melts over for a few more days
We aren't sat twiddling our thumbs , we are making moves
Don Levy , Don Lange , Don Vinai and Don Paratici are cooking

And preparing?
So despite similar resources, and far, far more PSR wriggle room than both, we're once more left in the distant shadows of our two fiercest rivals. It’s pretty clear that Liverpool, City, Chelsea and Woolwich are gonna be playing their own mini-league next season. They have just pulled away from the rest in terms of the talent they’ve brought in any the money they’re spending.

To compete at the top level brother.....well not quite, more top halfish. So despite similar resources, and far, far more PSR wriggle room than both, we're once more left in the distant shadows of our two fiercest rivals.
What was the point of this New Stadium again?? .

Don't know why, just strangely calm and somewhat confident MGW gets done.
It’s complicated
It was and remains a non story, now, if the report said we had bid £500,000 for a young winger from Bognor Regis then we would be talking.
All the money Liverpool are spending...wonder if they are being bought out ...
When is he ever gonna be PL-ready, though? His competition right now is fierce. Stoke was by all accounts a great loan for him last season. It’ll be good for him to get another year there.

In previous years, I’d agree with you, but the level of spending from those four is just on a different level this last six months. Not to single you out, but I'm so fucking tired of reading this same lazy take every. single. summer. It's unbelievably trite and superficial. Every year it's the same shit, and everyone looks at the table imagining a season in which nobody apart from Spurs suffers any injuries whatsoever, and everyone else's transfers are all competing for the golden boot or ballon d'or.
There is always more competition and opportunity in the League than anybody anticipates. Odds are good that at least two of those teams are going to sharply disappoint compared to current expectations.
I swear there's a disease that some of you folks suffer from. July comes around and half of you act like you want the League to go ahead and declare the winner before a ball has been kicked.
Why MGS? It's Morgan Gibbs-White.Me as well. Think we've allowed for MGS in terms of space/wages etc,but other signings are probably dependent on outgoings.
