Wanting to, and providing the tools to, are not the same thing.
I never believed we would suddenly be dining at a higher table this summer, just because he said we “want to win”, ultimately everyone wants to win.
We will continue on as we have been for last 20 years, we will certainly be a lot better week in, week out than last year, squad we have is certainly a Top8, not the 17th best in the League (and 7th best in our own city).
We will try for long cup runs, outside chance as always we will win one, if the gods are smiling like last year, we might.
However to honestly believe that all of a sudden we were going to drop 500m on 7 or 8 top drawer players, all on top wages, just because Levy said we want to win things, is naive, we are just not in that market, and will never be under this ownership.
 
Looks like MGS will rumble on to the end of the window.

Was hoping something would give this week but if he's flown out there nothing is happening anytime soon.

What have Betis got to do with Spurs though?

Other than La Liga being a window into what the PL will be soon, just replace Real, Barca and Atleti with Liverpool, City and most likely Chelsea

But historically Spurs aren’t really anything like Betis are they?
