Paraphrasing; but such claims have absolutely been made here many times; both this summer and in past ones.

By contrast we're said to be run by "thieves" and other such nonsense.

I don't think we won't get to genuinely consider Gray as a DM for another couple of seasons yet......... Good to see Bent & Biss finally be considered as #8s now tho.
 
Il not shoot down any side roads and il keep it simple...

For the amount of resources this club has available, financially, infrastructure, facilities, the people in charge have done a SHOCKING job overall. We have spent alot, but on alot of nearly players, cheap deals, bargains and thats why we've not benefited as we should have.
People should rightly be held responsible for that, especially as it seems set to continue. If this was a non footballing company it either would have sacked the people in charge or crashed due to its poor performance/product.

Give this absolute machine of a club to any ambitious and footballing smart regime and it thrives at the very top of world football consistently.

We are in the the top 6 for revenue in the PL but we could play 100 pl seasons and never win with these guys in charge.

It's grown to big for them, they don't know what to do, they are just fluffing around at this point and chasing there tails as though they have a master plan.

If we do that little dogleg formation we did against Reading I can see VDV/Davies/Gray covering left back and becoming an auxiliary back 3 when we're in possession. Also feel Spence is a bit better at left back than right back if that formation flips the other way. Looking forward to seeing who plays where, also wonder if a fit Richy could nail down that left forward spot.

If you don't think the subject of the broader financial ops of a club/ownership crops up in the minutia of discussions on other club's forums you're kidding yourself.

First stop.... Try Man U (Glaziers / Radcliffe etc.) / WHam (GSB) / Newcastle (Ashley years) / Scum (Kronke is a villain era) + many many others up and down the pyramid.



We all likely know stuff about other clubs we didn't have the slightest inclination to find out; such is the presence of financial shit in the modern footy media-scape........ I know/knew stuff about Reading, Blackpool, Derby etc. ffs.

Could be worse..... We could have had to shut down parts of the forum to avoid discussions about the rapist we've been harbouring.

VDV and Spence are top left backs

LW Is shocking, agree on CDM. We need a keeper too
