Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

We will.definitely get 3 or 4 players, as clubs start to reduce their hefty demands.

It's the calibre of player that concerns ne, but I think Frank is slowly but surely assessing who needs to go and crucially what is needed.

ladies and gentlemen, we are now at the stage of desperation where people are actually suggesting Sancho and Nunes as serious options. We are in the trenches, people.
Even in the Temu Werner thread was some activity.
Scary times.
I didn't expect much from this window but Im still disappointed.
We really are a turtle on opioids this summer.
Kudus the only positive thing to happen so far.

The mgw saga seems to have sucked the hope out of everyone and me too.
We all need at least one big signing before the season starts.
Otherwise the mood in the stadium will be quite low from the beginning. Then a bad start and the season goes down the drain before you know it...

Exactly it's the calibre. Champions League was the game changer we were told before the final. We're pathetic

I think we have so far failed to move quickly. Nobody in that objective space can reasonably dispute that.

One might say, although I remain dubious that securing Kudus was a good move. We shall see.

I think thr calibre of player is crucial, which is possibly why we have so far relented on simply buying for the sake of it. I thought the alleged Gibbs-White chase had echoes of a player for the sake of a player. Again, let's see how he fares in the next season or two.

What we know and maye always knew is that simply being in the CL does not mean players come running. That might be as a result of a shameful 17th, wages, or any other combination.

We willl buy players. Let's hope they are the quality we need, if we are looking at decent cup runs and a top 6 finish.

I have no choice but to follow us next season, but whether I watch from.the periphery as I did for much of last time round, or get more into it, is something I feel applies to quite a few.

It needs to be so much better, glorious singular moment aside.

This is what always happens

We miss out on the big targets and then whoever we get linked to, no matter how shit they are, we get desperate and buy them.

I mean FFS - someone even mentioned Sancho - the guy who has proven to be a flop and a troublemaker already.

Also Nunez - a proven striker with an aversion for scoring goals.

Now Ollie Watkins is the next name to be bandied about.

They should have saved the news that we re-signed Davies to give us something to be cheery about...........

I've just been looking at the Premier league money list.......
We generate more revenue than chelsea, and only a fraction less than Woolwich and Liverpool...whilst our wages are also considerably lower than all 3 of those clubs....
So why don't we act like those clubs do , or spend like they do ???
Levy !!! He is the only reason we don't....disgusting....enic and levy out
