Richarlison is so clumsy on the ball... upgrading him would be one of my priorities.

WissaCould do with a forward to replace Richie and to compete with Dom to start
Any good strikers / CFs available?Could do with a forward to replace Richie and to compete with Dom to start
And we wouldn't have gotten Kudus if West Ham weren't in the shite. Let that sink in.It's quite clear there was no big window planned (which we needed) given we're almost in August and Kudus is the only proper new signing we've made.
In contrast Chelsea, Liverpool and Woolwich all planned big windows and have gone about getting lots of high quality incomings sorted.
It's very unlikely we get 3/4 big signings done in the next month and as such the gap between us and top 4 will as big as it's ever been.

Richy isn't leaving.
Best we can do is hope he stays healthy and finds form
When have we ever pushed hard to sell anyone?I'm sure we will push hard to move him on after the tour. It's clear he is not good enough even without the fitness issues.

#dealwithitAnother original comment. Your guys are awesome at coming up with new stuff.
our pyramid has a low ceiling that's not changing and that's why it fell apart. serious football people want to keep growing and win and enic doesn't want to do that. it took hitting that ceiling again and again to figure that out but it's clear to all now.Have to remember we still have to pay stadium off. But on flip side since poch left we have wasted money hiring wrong managers and mediocre players. Levy needs to get structure right again imo like it was under poch. Right manager, modern tactics, developing players, academy knocking on door getting in first team, right scout (mitchell). Was like a perfect pyramid. Since 2019 the pyramid has been dismantled.

we're just not going to take the bigger risks required to win. buying a ready made player for a big fee and then putting them on big wages for 5 years is much bigger risk if they don't work out than the younger players or older opportunity buys we make. we're not going to make the commitment on a player like rodrygo or even eze who may not work out who we'll then have to sell at a big loss and/or eat big wages. that's what big clubs do and it's not our business model sadlyBecause we keep buying the cheap option and hoping we strike gold rather than signing ready made players. It will always be like this when you sign players like Gil - there is zero demand for them and they have to be loaned out or sold for less than £5m to a cash strapped La Liga side.
Buy top quality and if Real throw loads at it 2 seasons later then take the money, reinvest and do it all again. Instead we like the 2 in 10 model where we get a load of cheap players most don’t work and hang around like a bad smell but a couple become very good/great - the 8 fuck up the gains on the 2
yeah we've been pushing him on for years. But for this season with Champ league he'll finally give in?

Average player. Not an upgrade in what we have. Gets booked constantly and always diving in. Slow in possession and rarely plays forward. We need a 6 that can dictate the game.
From MGW for 60m to Palinha on loan
This summers Timo Werner or Clement Lenglet
I can see how Palhinha would add an element of combativeness in midfield that we don’t currently have, so I don’t mind a loan. We still need a creative force to compete with Maddison though. I’m not convinced by Kulu in that role.
Again, if we bought another CF and told Richy he would’t be getting game time in a WC year, you’d be surprised how quick his agent would find him a new club. But we don’t have that dawg in our leadership. They are not obsessed with winning. It’s always “what we’ve got is good enough.”Richy isn't leaving.
