My point is they're more than likely about to lose their best player by a country mile, replacing him with a 22 year old flash in a pan who's the 9th best goalscorer in the German league would absolutely not be seen as ambition if the boot was on the other foot. We've obviously done something similar with replacing Son with Tel, I'm not justifying our window as a Stormer, I'm just saying comparing it to Newcastle's is wild (see also Aston Villa).
That environment is on the field. Europa winners is a start but we need to be competing at the top to get those top players. We did not do that last season but need to do so before the top players will come.
