Taking into account infrastructure, finance, potential, etc we’d be in the top dozen clubs in the world. Do any of the larger clubs want this guy? Not looking like it. As far as affordability goes, I’d hope that the player who has been told he is surplus to requirements at the largest club in the world, knows his direction is downwards and that should be the case with his salary too.
