I think January 2040 is the ideal window. PSR will finally be strong enough to stop the cheats, our debt will be mostly paid off. The 50 year plan will be not far off. Paz has a weird buyback clause as a former Madrid youth player. RM has something like a £10m buyback clause in each of the next 3 summers - AND they have a sell-on clause, so Como only get half the money.

eze makes no sense at all for the money they want, 65m for a 27 year old who is going to have no real resale value, its poor value when you can get a 24 year old rodrygo who is a superior player for an extra 25m in transfer and extra 100k a week. the value for eze in comparison to rodrygo is shit. even if rodrygo costs an extra 40m over 5 years its far better value, and he has resale value in 4 years too.
