Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think I prefer this lad instead of Paz

Lovely left foot, glides across the pitch with the ball. Very elegant and has end product.

Apparently Leverkusen are close to signing him for 50 mill euros.
You’d expect us to have data on all these players and making moves on the most suitable after the mgw debacle

There should’ve been a bid on someone by now … maybe this lad if other scouts rate him

Atalanta probably wouldn't sell, especially amid their Lookman situation, and he kinda seems like the sort of wispy player who might not work in the PL, but I feel like if we're casting about for a classy 10, Charles De Ketelaere's name ought to be said in this thread.

You could play him as a Havertz-esque false 9 too.

That absolutely killed his confidence that season, looked good up until that point. I really like him though, when he's on he's on

Because from reports palace were insisting that 60m+ of the 68m release clause was paid up front and refused to negotiate on it. That is a massive outlay for any club throughout the leagues. Palace were desperate to keep hold of him and wouldn't negotiate terms.
That's a massive reason why he is still at palace

In that case the fucking idiots in here talking about buying Eze instead Tel or (name any other Spurs player) need to STFU.

Would be a great move for him. We don’t have the ambition to even try for him I’m sure. We’re just so skint

It is telling that it seems as if every quality player wants to go to the same four teams. Some of it is reputation of the club and name recognition, but I would think it has a lot to do with wages. If players perceived Spurs had ambition they would come to us but apparently they don't.

There needs to be a change to what clubs can pay players. Maybe a cap or something.

It is easy to slate us ro an extent but Newcastle and Villa?

Nope, I will accept that maybe at present we might not be the most attractive option but fcuk players if they all want to go to the same 4 or maybe 5 clubs.

The Premier League turns a blind eye to Chelsea circumventing the rules and then lays the law down to Newcastle and Villa and keeps them from spending what they could. The EPL doesn't have much credibility left with fans. The league is happy to see Isaak walk away from his contract to force a move to Liverpool since they are members of the chosen circle. Nobody thinks City will face any meaningful penalty for all those charges against them. Woolrich is just Woolrich. They'll spend themselves silly and then implode all on their own.

I don’t get this new data approach , surely it spits out choices for positions , you can’t tell me we’ve looked for creative attacking players around the world and it’s only flagged up Gibbs white ffs . Brighton have someone lined up before they sell , why ? Cos that’s what professional clubs do when they are data driven . We knew Son was leaving , are we seriously going into the season with Johnson., tel and odobert as his replacement, we know Madison can’t play 3 games in a week and kulu out for months so now we’ve think Sarr can be a number 10 ?? I’m sorry but I’m livid with this window and the way the club is being run , seeing the ambition of United , Chelsea , scum , Liverpool and city - teams we used to compete with have a real go whilst we are the guy at 2.00 am in a nightclub looking to pick up a paraletic bird to take home for a shag ( sorry if that’s offended anyone ) .
Make no mistake , as we stand now with this squad we are in danger of being in a relegation battle , Frank had better attacking players at Brentford ffs .
Rant over - good night all .
Data is only as good as the people interpreting and acting on it

Would Ademola Lookman makes sense for Tottenham? Wants to leave his club and can play all 3 forward positions.
Flopped at Everton but he was just a very young player at the time and clearly not ready for PL. Has had a very good career in Italy. 20 goals in all competitions last season.

Winning the watered down version of Europa League, itself the watered down version of UEFA cup, doesn't constitute a great opportunity in my book. Don't think this trophy has done much to increase our appeal as a club, even though it was a huge relief to us fans.

Summers of 2017 and 2018 are a totally different story though. We were a very good team without a trophy back then. Could've easily pushed on for greater successes, since we already had a strong foundation to build upon.

Who gives a fuck what's in your "book".

225,000 fans who turned up for the parade would disagree, and if the EL is watered down, is the FA and Caribou Cup now watered down without replays? It certainly put's Spurs on the map, get's a monkey off our back and is a major achievement for the club.

We have seen PL clubs beat the likes of Bristol City, Coventry, Portsmouth and Cardiff on the way to a FA Cup SF, wouldn't that be classed as "watered down" opposition?

I just want to say that I do not always bring my best self to this forum. We are all spurs fans here.

If we don’t bring in one or two more FIRST TEAM players then we have not done enough and it will be a bs window.

It’s not true that Levy said we would win the league and CL this season. That’s disingenuous. However he did say we need to compete and at the moment the squad is short of quality to compete on four fronts.

Massive three weeks ahead.

Reading Frank's quotes he does state that he doesn't want any player who won't improve the current squad.

I find his words comforting, but factually flawed if he thinks Lange can't find any better players than what we currently have.

I never believed the David Icke guff about people being lizards , however I do now . It would seem to appear Levy is a Monitor Lizard
