Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

There's probably nothing to these Eze rumours other than the fact that he's a Base client apparently.

Everybody and their dog who can cover the #10 role will be linked with us in the next few weeks anyway.

Eze won't happen.

Nothing particularly "big" will happen. If I had to guess I think Daniel will wait until the final week of the window when clubs who have spent loads this summer are desperate to offload.

We'll sign Grealish on loan.
We'll sign a "project" striker.
We'll sign a CB you've never heard of.

We are becoming more like west ham every day.

That just means nothing, both the comment and if it ever came to pass.

The next 3 weeks are make or break for Levy, and that's regardless of what the first 4 months to January bring.

He cannot make the ridiculous PL-winning comment and preside over what we have seen so far this window, without fans and media ripping into him, and much as I think up to this point, the investment if not how it has been undertaken has been sufficient, that's not the case as it stands.

Agree. I think what amazes me is that we've been signing the same level of player for 20 years now. Some we get lucky with. Some we don't.
The supporters have accepted this now too.

The days of Spurs signing the best and paying the best wages pre date Sugar and the continuity Sugar regime which is ENIC.

We are thrilled with any old punt the miser comes up with at the last minute.

Whats sickening is watching a shit club like Utd who are supposedly broke making big signings🤷
Fucking ridiculous at this stage

United aren't a sh@t club and they certainly aren't broke.

I think their investment as in the look of a plan is probably what rankles the most.

It's fair to say Frank would have needed a bit of time to assess the need, much as Amorim has needed the few months to get to know his players, but within the club, we needed to be ready.

No one, even the more conciliatory will fall for last minute failed bids this season. 17th warranted a more proactive approach, no question.
