Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Wasn't Savinho a regular first team member for City during the second half of the season? His numbers were decent as well, 11 goal contributions in 1772 minutes.

He's also only 21. Why would they move him?

There will be a lot of activity in the remaining days of the window. Not saying it will necessarily be us, but you sense, like the impending heatwave, that the transfer market is going to heat up, for the ckubs who have si far been very quiet.

That’s all fine but this stupid club is participating in a cup final in 4 days.. and it’s completely under prepared for what’s to come

Oscar Bobb is the bigger talent but he had a really bad injury last season. From City he is the one most like to have a Palmer type break out. I would love to try and grab him.

Nah we are supposed to support the team we have.

I think our group of players massively underperformed last season, massively and I don't think its fair to judge until we see what we can do with a new manager.

Doesn't mean we don't need to add depth, but this hilarious the end is nigh attitude is so OTT man.

Whatever you want to do though but I have every right to call it as I see it
You answered that perfectly, IMO. Well played.

Yes, we should support the team, even when we're unhappy with the ownership. It's not their fault, regardless of ability or inability, that they take to the field to represent us. And I do think some of us are OTT in our criticism of individual players; I mean, Johnson didn't ask us to sign him up. He's the easy target for us to take our frustrations out on but someone else offered him a contract as a first team player.

I actually think he'll be key this season; a tap-in merchant who can put away Porro's crosses. The problem is, it will be too easy to defend if that's our only option.

And that is where we should direct frustrations - those in charge who are leaving us with a lack of options.

We need stars, particularly in attack as they attract new supporters; and they also draw defenders, which creates space for other, lesser players, making them look good. Star players cost money in terms of transfer fees and wages though.

Would take Grealish on loan plus McAtee as we are desperate now.

We have no LW and no 10.

Grealish yes, because it wouod be a year and you would think he wants to prove a point and force his way into England's world cup squad.

Grealish would also encourage one or two others to join..... I think.

Put it this way, he is by far the most commercially sensible as well as his ability.

Whether this suits Frank or is something that Levy will sanction who knows, but Grealish can be in no doubt Guardiola wants him gone.

Have you watched enough of him?

I haven't.

But a lot will have decided on very limited evidence I suspect.
He’s got zero athletic gifts to speak of and can’t run a game from the centre of midfield. He is basically my worst fears for what Mikey Moore may become, a soft, tentative player who is neither attacking midfielder or winger.

Both him and Elliott are getting touted around as they’re free PSR money but if they were actually good enough for our ambitions their parent clubs would want to keep them.
