ffs are we even mulling anyone? when's the last tab we kept? we suck at actual deals but we're not even monitoring at this point. i need mullings dammit!
Apparently, after calling round last week, nobody called us back.

There was nobody tasked with deciding what to do if that happened, so they are considering getting an administrator, who would not be tasked with deciding what to do, of course.

My point is only 6 teams pay higher wages and Villa not by much. However some suggest we are the worst but that is not the case. 5 of them have a higher income than us. Whilst we are the 9th richest club, 5 of those richer are in the PL.

Good post.

The truth will hurt many. It's more precise to say that for what we pay we should get more, which equates to me that we either pay too much for what we have or that much more is able to be squeezed from those who are on the books.

It can't be everything can it.

About 20 days too early for a Torres bid isn't it?
we've only just begun the dance

Been watching El Kannouss.

Took him 10mins or so to be visible in the game. He’s had one decent half volley which went just wide of the post.

He seems to have a role where he’s allowed to wander a bit. Playing centrally but popping up on the wings especially the right, where a few times he’s tried whipping the ball in for strikers to get their head on.

Doesn’t look particularly quick as such, he’s a bit of a glider, as opposed to a pace merchant. Certainly more of a passer than someone who’s going to be taking people on in one on one’s based on this, although at least once he’s taken a touch beyond an outstretched foot to give himself a bit of space.

Seems to be decent in terms of his technique, though he’s just taken a foul throw.

Probably harsh when this is one of the first times I’ve really specifically paid attention to him, but certainly seems to be in the ‘last minute budget option’ section of players for us should we go for him.
He looks okay/average, not even really standing out in this Leicester team who are having most of the ball against a struggling Wednesday side. He’s had one decent cross, one good bit of good play on the left wing a lot of rolling the top of the ball with his foot. Winks looks their best player since he’s come on.

Had a look on that other forum. They’re saying he’d be a better buy than Eze or Grealish. Jesus

Thomas Frank on the squad, and how close is it to being what he wants...

"I think that's difficult. I think that there's no doubt that I want, how can I say this, a big enough, small enough squad! You know what I mean?

It needs to be big enough and robust enough to compete in all four tournaments because that's extremely important, but I can't have too many players.

It's just so difficult to keep everyone happy, it is almost impossible, and then we also want to see if we can add in enough quality, but again, we don't want to sign players we don't think can really improve the squad.

Then I would rather wait to have the right talented players. I'm not here for the short term fix.

I want to build something that can last, so we need to think longer term, but of course we need to compete now. That's my thought process."

Really good 85 seconds of what the issues are,for the clubs outside that 4 + 1.

How to get round it is the question.

Howe must feel completely let down by Isak, who for me is an absolute wnaker.

Basically saying "I have enough average players. I don't need any more"

Get the man some quality FFS!

I think it’s desperation for something more than anything else.

He’s looked, neat, tidy, some nice touches, would I rush back to buy him or be jumping up and down reccomending him? Not based on this. He does of course have age on his side.

Just got himself in one in one with a nice bit of play, unfortunately he’s been watching Mathys Tel finish.
