You are just repeating the same stuff to rubbish the club. We are attracting players from other clubs. When a player decides which club to go to it is his wages he is interested in and not some ratio. I accept we cannot compete with the top 5 clubs but that is not every club in Europe. As we are bottom of this ratio then are you saying a West Ham player would not come to us?We're going round in circles here mate.
You acknowledge that we spend a lower proportion of our revenue on player wages than every one else..not just in England but in every major league in Europe.
The obvious conclusion is we are not attracting the quality of player we could if we invested more. And obviously we could invest more if we chose to.
If Liverpool, for instance, only invested around 40% on wages, they would not be signing the quality of player they are now.
It's a scam mate. There's no other word to describe it.
I clearly am not getting through to you but this ratio you relentlessly quote is not the problem. That does not mean we should be shying away from paying more wages to top targets. Players are not leaving due to low wages.
