i'm actually not a massive fan of Savinho to be totally honest. His potential upside is good but people saying they prefer him to Doku baffles me. Doku imo is a far superior player and the potential upside is about the same.

I actually don't reckon we would struggle much to sell Johnson at break even tbh, he would be a fantastic player for a West Ham, Everton, Bournemouth, Fulham tier club IMO and those teams are capable of stumping up £40-50m for one player nowadays.

i think defenders are going to have to respect his weaker foot much more than anyone else we have and even if he's not uncorking shots or hard crosses, he'll pull defenders out of position or force them to cover more space. that alone should unlock more low blocks than we do now.
He actually has a quite high shot on target percentage, personally I'd give him a bigger assist bonus than a goal bonus as despite the percentages, some of that shooting is fucking diabolical.
Still though, we'll be able to pay that off over 5 years....they'll be trying to talk him into ridiculous add-on playing bonuses now to keep the basic as low as possible.

Having left wing Savinho and right wing Kudus running at teams could be very fun to watch.
